I have used Netflix on My Xbox360 for the last 6 months, But I no longer want to pay Xbox Gold Monthly, So I sent for free Netflix stream DVD . And I must say, I watched 2 movies tonight and the Picture and Sound Quality thru the PS3 is 30% better the my Experience with the Xbox 360. This is not a SW topic, I Own both Systems and Gaming comp (as listed below) but I wasnt playing enough Xbox online to justify the monthly.

Net flix rox, And Go pLay is nice for Hulu and Other services

I hope you continue to find that the PS3 delivers more on all fronts. Have you checked out Uncharted 2 yet? If not I highly recommend you do, I mean it is GOTY and all PS3 owners should have it.

I use netflix on my PS3 daily. I can't tell you how many hours of streaming I've put in just catching up or rewatching my favorite TV shows. I never watch network TV except for Glee, and Lost when it starts Feb 2nd

my only beef at this point is the odd way it outpus widescreen video. Unless they fixed it recently it was bugged and squashes stuff down to 4:3 and it looks weird even if the aspect ratio is changed manually on my TV ... i figure it will be rectified by the time it makes it in as a FW anyway.

Oh yea, I rented it, finished it. i do own MGS4 and KZ2 and GT prolouge (cant wait till thursday)

Put a 250 hard drive in my PS3 the day I got it, It has always been my media center. The 360 does have some great games. But the PS3 with its 250 gig HD has always been my (im 40 years old) most used console. Still blown away the difference in netflix quality between the 2 consoles. Crazy

lol. The quality between the 360 and PS3 is no different. It's based on your internet connection.

Do they have subtitles option? I'm deaf myself and have to use netflix blu ray disc, since the streaming don't offer subtitles. I was just wondering, if you guys have noticed that?

I've been using the Netflix on my 360 for a while now. In fact, it's about the only reason I even use my 360 anymore. I tried the Netflix on PS3 when it first came out, and it works. That's about about it though. The 360 version doesn't really work any better, but the UI for it is much better in my opinion. I really only use the PS3 one now when the connection on my 360 messes up. Once they implement Netflix into the XMB and you no longer need the disc, I'll probably use it more exclusively. Hopefully they create a unique UI for it when that happens.

It does not look better than the 360 version. Netflix on the 360 doesn't squish the video to 4:3, you get widescreen. So if you like a unnatural distorted look then go for Netflix on the PS3..they need to fix that, then you may actually be on to something. So I can't really take this thread seriously.
