Vanquish for PS3: Is it really worth it?

Hi all, I downloaded the demo for vanquish the other day and I found it rally exciting. I am thinking of buying it but one thing holds me back: "Is it really worth the money?". I am just worried that the demo was cool but the game will be repetitiveor not as good, I mean its $110 AUD and thats a lot for me. So, I ask again: "SHould I buy this game?"

It's supposed to be the case where the PS3 version is superior or equal to the 360 version, so if you get it, know that you're not just getting a port. I played the demo, but nothing made me feel like I really needed to get this game. I'd wait for a price drop.

It's made by the same team as Bayonetta and MadWorld, both of which were games that didn't get past 10 hours in length and had little to no replay value or any multiplayer - Vanquish looks set to be the same. I'm sure it'll give us all 8 hours of fun, but 8 hours cannot justify a full price day one purchase, rent it or buy it cheap 6 months later, you'd regret buying it for full price, I can promise you that.

Since it's not out yet, I doubt anybody really knows if it's "worth it" or not :) You'll just have to go by how much you liked the demo.

Personally I'll be waiting until it's in the $20 - $30 range. If everybody says it's absolutely fantastic, maybe I'll go as high as $35.

The gameplay is supposedly the main draw of the game and yet it felt empty. What really ticked me off was how shallow and cheesy Sam is. Apparently he's some sort of football player,...sorry but I'll pass. I need something a bit more epic like Enslaved, that looks awesome.

Im just glad to see that its actualy well done on PS3.
