DOA4 got 9.2 from gametrailers.
Who cares, this is the PS3 board not the 360Doa is good for a quick match up with friends online. I personnaly enjoyed it and the online sustem of the game is the best for a fighting game.
But I love Tekken better, I'm a big fan of fighting game so I'll chek out VF5 as well but personnaly I want Tekken 6 so much more but VF5 will do the job until that.
There isn't much you can compare it to.personnaly enjoyed it and the online sustem of the game is the best for a fighting game.

Still this is a topic about a review of VF5 and not DOA.
I think the points given where what i would have given it. VF never had a good story, but from what i read and watched, it's totally lacking a story now :P. Then we got that it is missing Online Components (No not online gaming!), they could have added a few online features so that it could compete against the VF5 Arcades in japan, but no they didn't Sega was to lazy to do it!

probably because of the lack of online. GT did mention that VF5 is still king of the fighting games. No offense to those who are fond of the series, but $60 and no online is almost inexcusable. Tekken DR is a better pickup IMO, and it's online $15...i've really lost interest in fighting games, so i haven't played one in a while. but judging by the GT review, it seems like VF5 differs from other fighting games. its more realistic and technical, so you can't really just button mash. but like you, i'm no one to judge.
Of course, I haven't played either, so who am I to judge?
