I'm planning on picking up a vita today, and I only want to get one game with the system. Which game do you think will last the longest and be the most fun? Do not include MGS Collection because I've played those two game a lot.

Thank You

If we're talking as of right now? I heard that hot shot golf and tennis should be good nad have a decent amount of content. Mortal Kombat have quite a lot of content too if you're into that. I would've suggested to platinum MGS lol. I'm not sure if Disgea 3 have release on the Vita yet? If it has it's supposes to have a ton of playtime. Other than those there Are both Persona 4 and Ragnarok Odyssey in the future (Ragnarok releasing in August).

As of right now, MGS: HD Collection should run you about 30+ hours, but only if you like MGS. It's not always everyone's cup of tea. Disgaea 3 is indeed in the market for the Vita, and that game should run you longer than MGS, but again, not everyone is into Disgaea.

If you like racing games go for Wipeout 2048. Good multiplayer and tons of replay value. If you like fighters I recommend BlazBlue.

Everybody's Golf (Hotshots Golf) is pretty massive and could last you indefinitely. I also find Rayman Origins pretty long and with plenty of great gaming.

I would say Gravity Rush. Fantastic game. Alot of exploring and you can just run around the town. Also there's coming 4 dlc, with their own story. I can see this game is gonna last long.

LBPV beta is unbeatable thought. Very much to do. But only if you get chosen in the beta.

It's said to take 20 hours to platinum GR (with current DLC) and roughly 10-12 hours just finishing it. I wouldn't say that's long, but a decent lenght none the less (:

Disgaea 3 will last you quite long, the game's got a ton of content to go through and its pretty addictive once you get the hang of it.

Well, if you just rush throught the game without upgrading your powers, then ofcourse it will be short. Otherwise, if you go and complete all the challenge's along with upgrading your skills. I say it will take some time.

So you say that a regular playthrough is longer than 12 hours?

Well, yeah. Because, you take time to upgrade your skills and you need to finds those gems. And you also complete side missions.

Arh well I also misunderstood what someone else wrote. Someone took roughly 10-20 hours getting the platinum trophy without DLC. So 10-12 hours finishing it and another 5-8 hours "cleaning up" doesn't seem unreasonable + a couple of more hours doing the DLC. At any rate the game features a decent, albeit it's not "long" as in the 50 or so hours you'll need to put into getting the platinum trophy of MGS2 or how people have spent a 100 hours in Disgea 3. :)

Then im afraid there's no game that will last long on the PSV. For now. LBPV is unlimited, but only if you get chosen in the beta once again. But maybe Resistance Burning Skies? But it may have a collapsing MP. Because i heard there are connection problems (Probaly fixed already), hit detection is bad, or something like that.

Well no, there aren't a lot of game out not that'll take 20+ hours to platinum, but I've heard that hot shot golf is a rather deep game and MGS too ((if going for the trophies). Ragnarok is set to launch in August I believe and that should last fairly long, Persona later this Fall

Gawd that game. Yeh I forgot about that, but come on.. 24h/character x 28 or how many there Are is just plain retarded. 1h/character would me more appropriate since that'll still force one to play the game for roughly 30 hours + the SP mode and the ladder games, but no for some reason the developers figured that 600+ hours would be the best choice. At my rate it would take several years löl...

Disclaimer: This is speculation, but with some solid leads. To add to the suggestion of Wipeout 2048, it's worth noting that on the Playstation Blog a couple of months ago, it was revealed that the games will receive DLC packs for the Wipeout HD and Fury packs. What's extra special about this news was that it seemed that if you own the original PSN games for the PS3, you'll receive the DLC for 2048 for free! :D I also say this because on the Playstation Blogcast last Thursday, it was mentioned that a DLC pack would be released tomorrow for Wipeout 2048, and I have a pretty strong hunch that this deal is the one they will release. Anyway, long story short: If you liked Wipeout HD+Fury on PS3, you could get free access to both by purchasing Wipeout 2048, effectively giving you three campaigns to complete, as well as about a dozen new tracks. Now that's replayability.

It's not a rumour. Vita owners will soon be able to enjoy Wipeout HD + Fury tracks in Wipeout 2048. I'm not sure how many tracks the 2048 contains, but with all the tracks from the PS3 title(s) added I'm sure there's enough for any Wipeout fans and newcomes. (:

This news is seriously bringing me one step closer to buying Wipeout 2048. Pretty much three games for the price of one (who doesn't have Wipeout HD after the Welcome Back Package?)! I've been saying I've had enough Wipeout after getting platinum on Wipeout HD, but I'm starting to think otherwise. Cross-play multiplayer, and now cross-play DLC? This has got to be one of the most complete packages in the Vita's lineup. Say what you will about Sony's business practices, but free DLC is something no one can argue with.

Just read this on Neogaf: 1) Fury was a DLC pack for WipEout HD on PS3 2) This seems to be wipeout HD/Fury tracks released for Wipeout 2048, for use in singleplayer. If you own Wipeout HD/Fury on PS3, the DLC will be free.
