Vita is doing well...

Hey guys, was reading a news article the other day and vita sales are doing really great, in the 30 days or so its been out, it sold 1.5million units already, compared to 360 which sold 64 million so far in 5 years...so for a handheld, i feel like its doing great...any comments?

Gonna try and buy one for once pretty soon but what's keeping me away is the memory card prices and the games.

As a sheep, I honestly hope the Vita does well. It's a good system. My only complaint is the f*cking load times for some of the games. I played a demo for Gravity Rush and it took 3 minutes before the tutorial started, and most of that was loading time. It's a great system, just a few very monor quirks.

i just decided to throw it out there b/c many people are screaming that vita is not selling well...well i will say 1.5mil in 1 month is not bad at all, for a handheld especially.

i dont think it's sold 1.5 million in a month... I think is has sold 1.5 million total- which includes all of the extra time it was released in and around Japan. So it has sold probably 1 million in a month. Which I suppose isn't bad but it's not good. I love my Vita and I want the Vita to be successful, but sony is going to need to do some extra marketing and start showing off some more games before the more casual audience is willing to shell out for it.

The system is great much better to game on then the ipad, but the game release is a real disappointment.Sony fooled us all by talking about the Vita support, in any system you put out it's a useless paper weight unless there is great software to go with it.Drake is a great game but after that the rest are mostly just ios/andriod remakes with a couple extra tossed in.The system is so great that it could carry a Skyrim/Dragon age epic RPG but Sony failes on that,Or Epic JRPG but sony failes at that.

sony should not be held at fault, due to developers taking a bit of time to come out with titles, but the titles that ive had hands on experience with so far are great.

also, additional vita support is coming out in april, due to it having a firmware update.

I bought one at 12:00 A.M. on launch morning :D . The employees at Walmart did not even know what I was talking about but they looked around in the back and found it.

I think it has been selling really well, especially considering the terrible economy. I love my Vita and hope it has a long successful life.

My vita is yet to arrive,and i want vita to be successful ,so seeing these numbers made me happy.
