It would only be a waste of time if you bothered to reply in a thread that you thought was useless. Forums are a place to ask questions, not to be flamed for asking something that you don't feel is warranted. While I understand what you're saying about the poster just researching it by reading reviews, in fact it's what I would have done, there is no need to be rude. If you don't like his question then don't bother to respond.

exactly i thought the exact same thing when i read this other guys post hes rude. Ill just read reviews next time. Thanks for the help.
Yeah, Metal Gear Solid is different from just Metal Gear. But I do recommend MGS3: Subsistence. It includes the original 2 games(you'll have a hard time finding them anywhere else), and they're very good and have important parts of the whole Metal Gear/Solid series. I also suggest you check out MGS1 and 2, and Portable Ops. It's such an excellent series. The story exceeds any other game out there by miles.
