Well I'm very happy, my graduation got cut short because it started to downpour and I didn't get to say goodbye to most of my friends, I was hoping for a great day today :( At least I got this as a consolation prize...
I never really took that email they sent me a while back about second rounds of the beta seriously cus its supposedly nearing its end. Looks like all those people that second guessed the email i posted in the thread were wrong. Upon further review of my services tab in account management, Warhawk beta has no specific start and close date, similar to my home tab. This beta could last quite a bit longer

That's what I was thinking too, they most likely extended it.
It's not a public beta jesus it's only another wave of invites. I never applied for the beta and guess what there is no Warhawk in the PSN store. it's INVITE ONLY.....H3llstrike
How come the beta is invite only? Since they have had it up for awhile why don't they make it public? Also, when do you think they will make it a public beta?
i believe it was called public because anyone could register as to where in home beta only gap members could registerKewin86
Why do you have to register for it? Why don't they just pick people out at random that own a ps3? Can't they tell who owns a ps3 when they play it? I'm pretty sure that when you use folding at home they can detect your location as to where you are playing your ps3 from.
I didn't register because I didn't know where to/when to and also if I did know well I'm kinda lazy.

Dont worry about him. He just has an irrational hatred of Warhawk. Maybe Incog did something to him in the past. haha But yeah his post doesn't make sense at all. There was no hype from Warhawk prior to the beta. Most people considered it a flop with the long delays and removal of the single player campaign. It was the beta that created the good buzz and the hype. So his rational that more people trying the beta would lower the hype is nonsense.

You must be playing a different warhawk than me because I really cant find anything good with this game. What do you think is so good? The shooting at someone at point blank with a machine gun for 30-40 seconds? Perhaps it's the broken ping function (It's in beta so I shouldnt include that). I just dont think this game is what it could be

I'm a long term g.a.p. member and I've got into both betas. Home I didnt sign up for but I did for warhawk. Unimpressed with both.

First, learn to spell. Second, I am giving my opinion which is welcome in these forums. He asked how beta testers were selected and I told him how I was selected. If you dont like it, perhaps you should leave.

there could be many reason as to why they need you to register my best guess. When you tried to register to warhawk they asked a bunch of questions like net connection type router type playing wireless or wired and a bunch of more so maybe they want to test everytime of connection thats something i'm sure they cant detect but thats just my guess.
I can't believe it, i didn't get in again, this is really starting to piss me off, i signed up within the first hour of registration and still nothing. Was it even open to Canadians? or was it US only?

and you should learn about the NDA rule when you get into betas.
