Was Demon's Souls just a fad?

The game is awesome but it's also not for those impatient or for those who simply don't have the time to invest on it. I'm part of the latter so unfortunately I'll always pass on this game. Real shame.

People complaining that the game was indeed just a fad, because they are growing tired of the repetition after their third or fourth play through....do you think at all before you type? If you did, surely you would realize how utterly asinine a statement such as that sounds... raven_squad

Im in NG++++ with one character And NG+ with other i created to help a friend (keeping the same S.level as him all the time)

Even if the game is the same each time, playing with a friend and stuff its kinda fun.

NG+ its a great adition to this game too, making a game harder the next time you play, lots of games just loss appeal once you finnish them because things get waaaaay too easy the next round.

I remember loving Parasite Eve 2 for the same, giving you the chance to replay the game in harder modes once you where done with the main storyline.

i would saY some what. i meaN it has like no story. and people love it because the type of gamers playing it or who have played it like my self want a challange wich no other games these days really give you. its like playing an old nes game,.. once i got my fix in with it and i hav played it for a very long time, i got to a point in the game were i just got bord of it and said whats the point.

VC = Valkyria Chronicles ?

It is getting praise and it's selling well, only difference is that it's more a sleeper hit than Demon Souls. Also keep in mind that if you're not into RPGs both games won't make a difference and they'll be ignored. That kinda gamer would rather be busy with Killzone 2 or MW2.
