Literal bottlenecks for starters
In all my emails to Sony I've said that I understand that they throttle all their downloads because it's a free service blah blah blah and that I would give them money so that if you have a high speed connection you can get downloads from the PSN just as quick
It's especially bad on the PSN because so many games that have a demo don't have the ability to unlock. That means if you like a demo you need to delete that then wait while the new one unlocks. You're not just downloading a 35K piece that unlocks the game, you're downloading the entire thing again
If we get to pay money just for the restrictions on speeds to be removed I will be ecstatic, anything more is pure bonus
I've never had much issue with download speeds. If it's going to take more than a few minutes I can do something else. The occasional 10 minutes download as opposed to a 5 minute download wouldn't be enough for me to cough up some extra cash on a monthly basis. That's great, I and many others are though
If I can pay not to wait (like last night's update that took 45 mins because of a "high volume of users")
Just imagine, you pay for 20 down and 5 up and the PSN RUNS at 20 down and 5 up
It's a beautiful thing
