[QUOTE="Denji"][QUOTE="yarou1000"] im just scared this "premium" will get out of hand, as sony will start only giving updates to premium users, then early access to demos, and on and on. I want one unified service for everybody. JoKeR_421
Didn't they start that whole demo and beta thing with Qore anyways?
But I agree with you. Corporations become too greedy for their own good.
yea they kinda started it off with qore, for the betas and early demos. im pretty sure it will get abit out of hand, but sony does know this for a fact that their FREE online is one of their BIG advantages. they wont crap out on the free psn, but im pretty sure they might have a beta or 2 or early demos to the premium ones first, but so wat? if the fre e is gettin it a week later or few weeks later that dont matter. wat matters to all and this should be final is that as long as u can access the PSN for free and play oline for free and can download games/movies/DLC like u do now. then u should calm the F down lol.....in the end though they are a business and can do almost w.e they want. but only time will tell wats going to happen. in a way i kidna hope they bring the premium maybe 20 a year i dont mind payin. but at the same time i hope it fails cuz of the sake of the rest of u who are scared lol.Well, I don't really think Sony is losing money because of a free online service. In fact, it's a great selling point. I honestly do not think anything will change in terms of stability either.
It's like going to the doughnut shop and the person behind the counter suddenly wants you to pay him for grabbing the doughnut for you. Yet, has been free and never been thought of everywhere else through out the ages. You already pay your ISP enough to have the ability to even communicate and game online and at half the speed to boot (vs the price you actually pay). It will always be a P2P type of service. Are people going to suddenly start paying to play FPS games online on their PCs? I highly doubt it.
