Weirdest Game Purchases You've Ever Made

Oblivion and MGS4. I actually did NOT WANT to play them. Just bought them because they were cheap and everyone said they were awesome. I 've played an hour of each. :)

yea but it was only $5 i mean i had to experience this trophy thing, sadly it hooked me like a fish :) Now its wonderful!

true dat, i think this was before amazon for me when i thought Gamespot was the haven for games. Now i never even go in the place unless they got a good sell or a new game i want.

gamestopi always get those two mixed up gamestop gamespot. Bad about it even in conversation. "hey i wanna check out what gamespot has for sale today" then my wife bashes in my skull cause she feels she has to correct me so many times.

i bought NIER for no reason and i must say it actully was pretty good game

Killzone 2: I don't even really like FPS's that much but my place of work was right next to a gamestop and it was the day KZ2 came out and as soon as I got of work I walked over there and bought it and actually ended up really liking the game.

i bought cod waw and farcry2 on sale while i was homeless. i figured i'll find a house eventually, but these game sales are hard to pass up....lol farcry2 was not worth it.

RFOM2 - Barely ever played it, bought it mainly for the special edition to be honest.

Blazing Angels 1 - It was dirt cheap, thought it would be worth it.. Turns out, it wasn't.

Weirdest would have to be haze, I wanted to purchase it simply because of how bad I heard it was.. and guess what I liked it lol.

I remember when I was like 9 years old, I traded my bike to a guy and got Donkey Kong Country 2, a Sega Genesis, and like 14 Sega games to go with it. Good trade imo, since I had 2 bikes.

On thread , I got Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising , there was a lot of DLC coming up so I thought 'this game must be good' , it had solid scores , played 10 min of it and never played it again , looks like a ps2 game. :|

I bought a plastic guitar for RB after my original GH one broke when I had bought it with the game. I felt weird going to EB Games asking for a used plastiic guitar, because I play real guitar, so I felt embarrassed. Alot of fun with it nonetheless!! Reason you may think this sounds weird is actually that, I only do vocals for RB and GH hahaha.

I know a guy who bought NOBY NOBY BOY. He wins.

hmm i remember when i went to greece i was looking for Dragonquest(VII i think) for the ps2.i was so sad i didnt find it but i still wanted to buy a ps2 game -.- fortunately I saw Final Fantasy XII poster at the store (10/10 official Ps2 magazine :P) .Best Buy for my ps2.
