What are some hidden gems or good cheap games to buy?

So far I've bought Yakuza 3 for pretty cheap and Mass Effect 2.

Oblivion and Assassians Creed can be had for under $20, I believe. Fallout 3, GTA IV

A lot of the PSOne classics are good like the older Final Fantasy games. You can get most of those for around $10.

Tekken 6. Online is pretty laggy, but single player is great.

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis collection. It's got a BUNCH of the old Sega Genesis games including the original Sonic games and a few of the Phantasy Star games.)

There's a few others that I can't think of at the moment, but those are some good ones.

You should play the original, especially if you're a fan of the movies. Its by far the best licensed game ( Movie game ) ever created. The game is just amazing. The Godfather 2 is also really great. Not as good as the original but a worthy sequel with lots of new gameplay mechanics.

Dont listen to any of the poor reviews, Godfather 2 is a wicked game if you liked the 1st one. I should say though that someone told me it can be quite glitchy on the PS3, but i played it on the 360 so i wouldnt know.

Definitely all of these. Also, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. It's good fun and only like $10. Also Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Borderlands.

Yeah, I got the original for PS2, it got "Good" reviews, so that says to me, it all works and if you like the subject matter (which I do) then it's a game worth playing. I absolutely LOVED "MAFIA" (the port for PS2, even) so when I found a copy of "The Godfather" it was a no-brainer. I have been so busy with other titles after i finished "MAFIA", I figured I would give the organized crime a rest and knock down a few other Rainy Day purchases... But I promise, I will play it one day, fairly soon.

I went through a heavy patch last Spring when the PSN went down; I played "Just Cause", "MAFIA", and "Scarface: The World is Yours", while watching my roommate finish "GTA San Andreas"...

3D Dot Game Heroes is amazing and it's only 15$ brand new at Gamestop. Not sure how much on Amazon but it's totally worth it, awesome game.
