I would always buy games that are popular but got suggestions from other people to get Folklore. I hesitated cause i only heard about the game like once or twice but it's pretty fun to me and i've been playing it all day long for a couple days now. What are some other underrated, games that have bad reviews, or not very known games that is worth playing? I would like some ps3 recommendations but some ps2 games would be nice too

Well, I always loved Area 51 on the PS2. It received a low rating. But, It was a good game! At the time.
I always thought that The Getaway games were descent and somewhat underrated (atleast for their time). I mean atleast they limped or held their arm where they got shot at, sorta a old age GTA IV precursor lol (in the new character animation department only though :P).

LMAO! NG wasn't that bad but I might place your statement in my sig tho. It deserves that tribute. lol! I have to say Getaway. This game was nowhere close to being a GTA clone. This is still one of my favorite games that I picked up on accident.
Hot Shots Golf Out of Bounds and Unreal Tournament 3. Yes it isn't that different than the previous ones and it isn't worth 60 dollars, but if you can get that game for a cheap price, it is rather fun. Ridge Racer 7 is also quite cool, but it was a launch game. It might not hold up as well now as it did 2 years ago.
