If you go to System settings you should be able to change the language.
I have a question. If you're using an ethernet cable to go online with, is it possible the PS3 can be used as wireless access point for your PSP? marcusboonis
you mean like having the PS3 be a wireless router? that would be a negative.
Well just look at what the 360 and Wii have downloadable game content, downloadable games, movies, trailers, guides, internet browsing, playing games with other people, MMOs, talking to other people, watching TV, etc.
If none of that interest you there are two other important things it allows for updates to the console and updates to games.
