What are the TOP 5 HARDEST GAMES on the PS3?

well killzone 2 is pretty hard on the hardest diffilculty, but havent really had enough ps3 games for a top 5 list

Wipeout HD is awsum though. Only just Platinumed it a few days ago and its the most satisfying feeling in the world. I wouldnt try unless you really like the game though as you'll be spending alot of time with it! Good job its amazing.

Edit: I noticed you said keep out racing but Wipeout is sort of not racing. Well it is but not like you'd think since it has weapons and zone which is just awsum. You want a challenge get it and its dirt cheap

I wouldn't say so. It was a good challenge but it wasn't extremely difficult on crushing.

Well for one thing, the game itself isn't any different (or any harder) than playing something like God Of War. In fact, aside from the plot and setting, very little is different at all.

Fighting with controls and a camera that purposely made to frustrate and punish the player, does not make the game "hard". In fact, it just means Team Ninja are too lazy and imcompetent to program what's necessary to make the game actually "playable". Instead, they cut back and pull cheap tricks to gain some falsely made "reputation" for being known as a hard game. It's a load of crap. Maybe if they can stop being a bunch of pervs and not obsess over "boob physics" for one project, they might actually do it right.

Demon's Soul, hands down for me.

If you turn up difficulty setting on GOW3 though, that's difficult as well.

Well here's mine that I've played that go to this list: (NOTE: I'm goin based on not just difficulty, but something specific)

1. Vanquish (GOD HARD MODE a.k.a NES HARD, ESPECIALLY THE LAST BOSS FIGHT WHICH I HAVEN'T BEATEN)

2. Megaman 9 (JUST PLAIN NES HARD)

3.Killzone 2 (ELITE MODE)

4.MGS4 (THE BOSS EXTREME GOING FOR THE BIG BOSS EMBLEM)

5. FF XIII (EARNING THE PLATINUM, NOT HARD, BUT TIME CONSUMING)

Demon Soul's, this is by far one of the hardest games I've ever played; next to Shinobi for the PS2.

To hype myself up for Killzone 3 I've been playing KZ2 on Elite this week. I've beaten pretty much every mainstream FPS on the hardest difficulty I can think of and that game... is beating my ass. I'm at the last part right before Radec and it's straight up chaotic. I look forward to getting destroyed all over again with KZ3 :D

oh yeah. Demon souls is very hard and unforgiving.

Dragon Age definitely on the Hardest mode. It's hard on normal as well. Requires extreme micro which just isn't as accessible on PS3.

Demon's Souls is definitely hard, but after a bit - you get used to the gameplay, and you'll end up flying through it.

FF13 and trying to get all it's trophies is ridiculous.

BUT OUT OF EVERYTHING, HANDS DOWN!...

Star Ocean. Impossible to get a platinum. It has an achievement that involves killing the final boss on the hardest difficulty without getting hit.

Definitely wouldn't say it's one of the hardest this gen, I actually found the bunker pretty easy, I had the most trouble with the Mexican levels more than anything.
