What are your thoughts on a possible PS3 version of Mass Effect 2?

i never bothered having already paid once. and at the moment i'm in need of a decent new computer. my laptop stops at directx 9.c, and i havent upgraded yet because i refuse to spend $400 on a bd-rw drive that is still hit or miss in todays market. that and because i dont know anyone that knows what they are doing and i dont feel confident to build one myself. so consoles is all i got.

it wouldnt change anything for me, it is one of the few games i would rather own/ and play on the pc regardless. even though shooters like cod i like on the ps3 more, idk just do though.

crappy port or no easy games sell. casual market is where its at. (when it comes to $ and a business perspective) the more gravity sony has hopefully will lead to better quality ports. and whats with all the mass effect trashing? i loved the story. it wasnt a masterpeice but you cant call it complete trash, well imo. the only other game that 360 offers that i would play would be forza.

this is a board on seeing me2 on ps3. not me2 itself.

I built mine for around $500 (not including monitor or peripherals) and it can play or do anything I want it to. Its definitely the wise thing to do if interested in a proper gaming PC. Its really so so simple. There are tons of great tutorials on the web for it, too. So if you ever have the cash.... give it a go! :P TheEldestGod

o, and i never said me2 wouldnt be awesome on the pc. pc always wins the fight.

like all contracts, they can breach and just pay the difference. bioware couldnt, which is where microsoft wanted them. but because ea can and will microsoft is offering proper compensation. in any event i believe its just a matter of time, hopefully before me2 gets "greatest hits" status (pretty words to cash in on a title whilst one still can). im no big fan of ea, but the more money me2 makes for ea on ps3, the more a giant is swayed by sony. and finally if none of this pans out the 360 will kill itself with the first dual disc game which we will see soon enough and the market will move accordingly with obsolete techniques. yay for 33gb bd's. and pioneer makes a 16 layer 400gb bd that works with existing lasers.

its just a matter of time. if not me2 it will be the next big exclusive. though i hope me2 does make its way to ps3 as i wont be playing it otherwise. and think of it this way microsoft fans: the sooner that happens the sooner micro releases a new console; keeping the market competitive making everyone happy. micro can move mountains with its wealth. when it chooses not to its because they are gouging a market to death. why release something new if the old still sells well? would you?

As much as I would love to see it I kinda hope it doesn't, but that's only because I have my save data on the PC so I wouldn't be able to take advantage of that feature :(

just because ea own bioware doesnt mean nothin. it reported that ms has a contract for mass effect. if bioware did sign a contract before being purchased they still cant back out or they well be hit with a breach of contract lawsuit.and after seeing dragons age abysmal sales on ps3 it wont help matters and i purchased daorigins on ps3.

Shouldn't they port the first one first then the second one...? Doesn't make any since why we should get the second and not be able to play the first-- first. I'm not holding my breath, no contract or contract if the series isn't ported over I'll have other excellent games to play.
