[QUOTE="raven_squad"]Well for me its because I've already played most of the PS3 RPGs on 360. I've already played Fallout 3, Dragon Age, Eternal Sonata, and even Star Ocean which comes next year. When I do finally get Oblivion, I'm getting it for 360, so that pretty much only leaves exclusives and future RPGs. Out of the 4 exclusives I can think of off the top of my head, I'm playing DS, I have VC unopened, haven't played Disgaea 3 yet because I want to play the other 2 first, and still haven't played Folklore but do plan on getting it eventually. I'm getting most of next year's RPGs for PS3 though so I'll have much more to compare after playing those. Also still waiting on US announcement of the PS3 Tales of Vesperia, but if that doesn't come soon I'll wind up just playing that one for 360 too. Why would you get Oblivion on the 360? Reviews indicated that the PS3 got a better port. If you had gotten it early it would make sense, since the PS3 had to wait a while for the port, but since they did a good job of porting it, what is the incentive to play it on 360? In fact, why not get it on the PC? There are a lot of mods that could change the feel of the game that can only be used on the PC. Same with Dragon Age (better PS3 port but better yet on PC).I find it interesting that alot of the people saying the PS3 doesn't have enough RPG's (however true it may be) don't actually even own many of the RPG's it does have... :?

In fact, why not get it on the PC? There are a lot of mods that could change the feel of the game that can only be used on the PC. Same with Dragon Age (better PS3 port but better yet on PC). PS3 had better load times and slightly better visuals, but now that you can install games to the hdd on 360 (you obviously couldn't at the time of release) the load times have been reduced to be almost equal to the PS3 version so the only advantage of the PS3 would be better slightly better visuals. 360 has additional DLC so just based off having more content I'd go with that version because graphics really don't matter too much to me. I like to get the most out of my games. Plus I got Fallout 3 for 360 and I like to keep games from the same publishers on the same system. That was also my main reason for getting Dragon Age on 360. With both Mass Effect games on 360 and having played Jade Empire on Xbox, it made me choose 360 over PS3 for Dragon Age. Also when I preordered it 1. the PS3 version was still delayed 2 weeks and 2. No one knew that the graphics were going to better so I had no real reason to choose PS3 over 360 on that one.I find it interesting that alot of the people saying the PS3 doesn't have enough RPG's (however true it may be) don't actually even own many of the RPG's it does have... :?
AlienOverlord
EDIT: I don't have PC that can run either game so that's just not an option.
if you mean rpgs that are currently out, id say: demon souls, fallout 3, valkyria chronicles rpg titles that im anticipating are: ff versus xiii, white knight chronicles, ff xiii at first i was frustrated that square only created rpg titles for the xbox 360, but when i played them i was further disappointed bcuz they sucked. the only ones i thought were great titles was lost odyssey, tales of vesperia. eternal sonata was averageransomink
Ditto with Demon Souls, Fallout 3 and Valkyria Chronicles.
There's just something special about Demon Souls and Valkyria Chronicles that you can't explain. They are like missed gems of this generation. I highly recommend buying both of them.
OT : I bought Valkyria Chronicles a few months back for a full price of $60. Gamestop reduced the price of it to $20 new, and you know what? I wasn't pissed off. I got my moneys worth. Infact, I think the game itself is worth more to me than that $60 spent ( plust DLC :) )
