So far the new next gen games by Rockstar have been alrite but i feel that they don't have that same fun factor like in recent games. Grand tthef auto and Midnight club used to be so fun to play and very good on the ps2 and xbox. But now they dnt seem all that fun any more. Yes they are more realalistic and all but it seems like like something is missing from them. Hopefully rockstar will fix that issue, and bring back the fun the old game had. GTA VICE 4 LYFE!.

i do agree with u the realism and graphics are exllent but the fun of the game is disappearing like gta iv is a good game and all but its boring once you have done the story you cant customize ur cars anymore you cant fly planes you cant recruit people stuff like that i miss and i am getting tired of playing in liberty city they dont have to make a place on a city they should just make it up something new i find that the saints row saga is taking over because it had what gta is putting aside and its meant to be a video game i hate it being too real

Midnight Club II > All other street racing games, customization or not.

They ditched the electronic/technical ambience for a more hip hop/rap influence that started with DUB Edition, and wasn't bad, but I miss MCII's atmosphere.

As for GTA, I think they nailed it with IV.

The one thing I see Rockstar doing wrong is focusing so much attention on the GTA series. Everytime they release something new, it gets delayed or something because of GTA. It's like their baby.

Perfect example is the Lost & Damned expansion pack vs. the South Central expansion.

The latter was pushed back in anticipation of the former.

I liked the realistic physics in GTA4, but some things needed to be fixed. I also think GTA4's world could've been bigger given a game like SA exists and it would be great to have a better GTA4 with the size of SA (or even bigger). I found that driving from city to city through the country side was actually pretty cool and made the game feel bigger than it actually was. Especially compared to the standards of games today and what they can handle.

If you think about it, all you'd have to do is take the three islands in Liberty CIty, space them out and put countryside between them.

That's basically what they did with San Andreas.

It's not that much bigger, but to have a game like that, I agree, would be much better.

I admit, San Andreas was the best of all the GTA's. And thats what they should do, make a next-gen SA, with all the customization and environment settings, but more.

True, but people know it's just one big city anyways so they couldn't get away with that. But having say, Liberty City to whatever New Jersey would be called, would make more sense. The cities were pretty small in SA though. A full city with a highway out into another city would be just freakn' awesome! lol Complete with State Police outside of the cities' limits.

They shouldn't have pushed MC's DLC for Lost and Damned(even though its great) because it is only on 360... Still, GTA series IS Rockstar's baby...

Isn't it now up to 400 Gigs they're pushing for? I guess all that leaves is if the PS3 can handle it (if PS3 is getting it's own version that is and not some 360 port based on DVD9)

Because of GTA4 I laugh at Rockstar games. The city and graphics in the game were beautiful.....blurry but beautiful. But everything else was in my opinion a failure.Story was wack,so was the gameplay, the characters, multiplayer. One of the most dissapointing games that I had ever played. Now MC LA looks fun,I will give it a rent.

I thought GTAIV was a vast improvement over the previous ones. It was more mature.

As in, the story was worthy of a true Organized crime story, they didn't put in a bunch of gore and what not just to appeal to fans. This wasn't a story about how some criminal made it to the top. The story was juicey full of drama and plot twists, the physics were fun to play with. (Like jumping out of a helicopter, :D) And Nico Belic was an amazingly strong front character. The gameplay was improved adding a cover system I just wish they would get rid of the lock-on in the game. Though I believe you can turn it off, I just think it needs to be gone in general.

Don't get me wrong I thought the other GTA's were great, some better then others, I just thought GTA4 had an overall better experience.

I mean to each and their own,but the story was not full of plot twist. It just took things from other crime stories, and tried to make them different and original, but failed. To me the story was predictable and dull.American dream my ass, where was the business owning and actually having good things to spend the money on.The cover system felt broken. The physics were pretty cool, cause seeing niko fly out of your car after slamming into a wall was funny as hell.

Other than the foot controls being sloppy as hell, I thought GTA4 was ok. The reason why I like GTA4 because it's a good frustration outlet. You can shoot and beat people's brains in without the consequence of real life lol

But where is the fun.All you have to do is drag them into the woods,It is easy for me cause I live in the woods, stupid people wander in my territory all the time.....but if you can't I guess GTA4 is a decent replacement.

Nah. I'm in the city and if someone sees, I'd have to get them too and someone else sees that and so on lol Then cops would come, I would have to get the cops LOL

Also, my logic and reasoning prevents me from fighting without a justified purpose:P

Haven't really cared for them much at all. They haven't lived up to their predecessors aside from improving graphics.

Rockstar is doing very well this gen. But they did really well with GTA IV. They just need to combine the GTA IV physics and graphics with another Vice City.
