What Do You Guys Think About The PS4 Analog Sticks?

I really can't stand what they did to the analog sticks. The oval sticks were perfect for precision movements/shooting, where the concave are not. The thumb actually lifts off of the concave stick, when you do a upward or downward movement. With the oval sticks, the thumb would glide up and down on the stick.

My hands get clammy when I game and it's nice to have the upward slope on the sticks to get better grip. Those sticks look far too slippery for my liking. Will just buy another set of grips if I need to. Mine might switch over nicely.

I think they tried to add both together with the new controller, i also heard from developer feedback on the controller that its a preety tight device and they love it

i dont like any of the changes other than the triggers being reworked. no pressure sensitive buttons means that games like mlb the show and gt6 wont be as good because they have to rework to fit the new controller. i don't mind concave but i preffer the sensitivity of the ds3 over the other controller the ps4 is trying to emulate. 

Looks fine to me. Plus, they said the sticks are going to be tighter than the DS3 analogs, which is a good thing.

Look fine to me, but will have to wait and see until the pad's in my hands.

Nengo, is there any chance of you getting rid of that annoying sig. thing? It's seizure central for epilepsy sufferers and even though I don't have epilepsy myself, it's really not nice to look at. It's a major eye-sore and doesn't look good in any way, shape or form. Get rid please.

I think they will work well...at least until they wear. Anything would be an improvement on the current slippery ones.

They feel great on my thumbs and are very responsive.

I think they might be nice, but I haven't touched a DS4 yet so I really have no idea.

Looks like they're taking notes from the 360 controller which is a good thing because my left thumb constantly slips off the Ps3 sticks. I'll admit I don't really notice it while playing because I've grown into the habit of using the other thumb to control the left stick for a split second until my left thumb gets into proper position.

I can't really say because I haven't used it yet. 

I had no problems with the original dualshock controllers though, so I'm a bit concerned how the new one will work out for me personally.

i dont like the ps4 triggers i prefer the xbox one controller.

The 360 controller was far better off for precision movement, and especially shooting.. This is a no brainer!

I am glad they finally improved the ps3 controller to the ps4 controller, the sticks were some of the biggest problems of the ps controller.

Thumbs slipped off too much, because it wasn't concave, and they were too tall from the controller, which affectively lowered the precision on the sticks.

Maybe now you CAN actually have precision with a playstation controller. 

I got used to the ps3 pad but the xbox pad was like it was home sitting in my hands. I'M ps4 fan but I do prefer the chunky xbox pads to be honest,im happy the ps4 pads this time look fatter with better grip.
