I love my PS3. I only have three PS3 games and I'm still able to enjoy it like if I had more games. It has, well my 60 gb can play any game from the PS2 and PS1 library and play music as well as movies (DVD/blu-ray). The free online service is sweet as well. What's crazy is that I'm play it using a small 16/17 inch television. When Christmas gets here, I'll have a 27 inch LCD with HDTV installed to go with it. HELL YEAH!!! Then there's the lineup of games coming in 2008, well...early 2008. I love my Playstation 3. Glad I got one.

Definitely get it. With all the great games coming out in the next couple months it's definitely gonna get a lot more attention than it's been getting. Get the 60gb one if they have one where you're going to get it. The extra 20gb isn't really worth the extra 100, plus you get all the BC with the 60 instead of a smaller portion with the 80. You won't be disappointed.

It's definitely the best system out there. You should definately buy it. Go for the 60 gig though.

In all honesty, I'm enjoying the system.

Just like PS1 and PS2 provided many nights of fun, so far PS3 is keeping me happy.

If you're looking to buy one, this holiday season is a perfect time.

Plus, online is free, Blu-Ray is built in, reliable hardware, built-in web browser (YouTube FTW!), it's shiny and sexay, etc, etc.freakyzeeky1986

I'm extremely happy with my PS3. I love watching blu-rays on it. Blockbuster has a pretty wide selection of Blu-Ray to rent. As indicated by the HUGE blu-ray posters on the outside of the stores. As far as the games are concerned, I've been keeping myself very busy with my library. I have "the leading brand" and am now on my second one. I fire it up to play forza 2 every once and a while.

and MGS4 gfx don't do it for me.

Did you see the gameplay demo? I was... rather impressed. And MG Online looks so sick!

And y rn't u playing in a dedicated serve on warhawk? You can play GOOD GAMES on those for hours. A whole map cycle will take an hour alone, at least.

For people who don't own either console... those games you mentioned are all released at the same time... that being "when they buy 1 of the consoles".

Well, the only argument i see not to get an 80 gig is the price... but if you want the B/C and the bigger hard drive, oh and you want to see what the 'next-gen' versions of the best games ever made will look and play like... buy a ps3.

I love the PS3s games, people keep saying it has a small library, big deal, I'd rather have a small library of games I want to play than a heap of games I wouldn't buy anyway. Since I live in Australia I love importing games to save money, I'm also a fan of crazy Japanese games. The PS3 is region free out of the box this is 1 of the greatest features of the PS3 for me. The inbuilt wi-fi is also great. The fact I replaced my HDD with a 160 GBer was fantastic too. Blu-ray movies rock, and the PS3 BD playback is fantastic. Also I'm a UNIX dork so the ability to try out Linux for Cell is the icing on the cake.

I like surfing the web, free online, blue-ray built into it. Reliable hardware is a big plus for me. Going on to youtube is a cool feature but it did not Wow me. I got the collectors edition of Oblivion and I rather like it but I think I would be getting more out of getting sucked into Oblivion if I had a HDTV. I wish was disappointed at the lack of 40 dollar and under ps3 games. I was going around town looking for PS2 games that I wanted and I was surprised I could not find SotC or FF12 new. It rather disappointed me. I really like the free demos and using my ps3 for Folding@home. I had not been wowed by the PS3 games I have played like I was when I picked up a PS2 last time around. To sum it up, I am not wowed by the PS3 current games selection; I feel rather confident on the potential ability of the hardware; I just wish I could be seeing more of it today. I am happy with my purchase of my 60GB ps3. (On a side note rather hot air gets pushed out the back end of the ps3 so do not block the vents or you are really looking for trouble.)
