i don't mind it, other than the fact that the firmware has frozen a few times. i can deal with the sparkles and the multiple links to the store and the two clocks. really doesn't bother me at all, besides the freezing issue.
Well other than the friends list its a great update. now XMB faster, internet bwoser now works on all websites and dosent lag, 80GB ps3 now support more ps2 games, i love it!
Everything is fine except for the friends list and the lack of the PS3 spiderman logo and that chime sound when you start the game. I like the sparkles.:) I thought there was supposed to be custom avatars, where are they?
i want the chime sound with the PLAYSTATION 3 logo before you start a game back!!!! also i have a fat ps3 but the intro logo is for the slim., it looks wrong.
Nothing really wrong with the update and the grey boxes on the friends list could be filled with more options later or it could add the trophy collection of each person in the box.
don't like the friends list but i can see why they added it.. i think a better idea would of had it like it was but when you are hovering over a friends name it would bring up the profile, just would have to change the profile around a little bit..
If sexy was the man you see in the corner of the pub by himself, then this update sure as hell is sexy. If sexy means sexy, then no. Of course not, it looks horrible.
I absolutely love the new update. The only thing I wish they would have done but didn't is speed up the trophy comparison loading times. It used to be super fast, but now it goes up to about 30% then it seems like you wait FOREVER to finally open up the comparison. The new layout of friends list is okay, kind of big I think I almost think they should shrink it down a notch and give you the option to change the color of the silver box. Oh, and SPARKLES FTW! :]
