it shows off the unreal engine very well but thats about all it does. i have no plans to make a game using the unreal engine sooo.....thats my $50 wasted
Superb; I imported this game in to Australia when it was released in North America. I've had no issues hosting games and having them filled within a dew minutes. The mods are great. The keyboard and mouse support is great. The only reason I can see to not like this game is if you don't understand what a UT is. It's an arcade like twitch shooter. It's all about reactions. I love UT and for me UT3 is the best shooter on the PS3.
I like it a lot, but put "Good"... it doesn't really stand out above all others in the way that a game like, for instance, Half Life 2 (not from an MP perspective, just in general) does. Also, there's practically no single player campaign apart from killing bots... which is fun, but I'm kinda old-school and really value a story mode... even if it's shallow like, say, Epic's Gears of War or the Doom or Quake games or whatever.
Nonetheless, I really like UT3... it's fast-paced and frenetic -- but simple -- shooting action that reminds me of the Doom deathmatch days.
Not much to say other then I love it. I love it's style, look, feel, and everything else about it. Especially the fact that it lets you play with bots, not to mention the mods.
The user mods and levels keep it fresh. This is a pick up and play game. You can put it on the shelf for a week or two then get the urge to play it.locoidontknow
Agreed. Its a tough choice b/c for $60 dollars i feel it was a little much but i do not regret getting it at all. i only rated it good b/c all its good for is online which is a god change from cod4 and resistance
good but really dissapointing with it's issues like lag, poor servers, poor mic support, lack of modes, and other glitches. it feels unfinished to me, a longtime ut fan
