what does the RGB feature actually do??

I know that update 1.81 was supposed to fix the RGB function, but what does the RGB function actually do??

If you have an HDTV that supports that function and an HDMI connection, then it basically makes the colors richer and the blacks darker. Made all the difference in the world for me, so I suggest if you can that you use it. ;)

is it though composite cables too. or just hdmi cables.

Not sure, but in parenthesis next to the setting it says 'HDMI', so I'm assuming that's what it means.

Yes I do have an HDMI hookup with my HDTV so i will try it out when I get home from work tonight.... thanks for the response!!
