What freaks you out in a game?

For me it's the headcrabs in Half Life, I hate spiders and the black ones leave me with shivers running down my spine. I know it's a bit wimpy, but they really do get to me.

Silent Hill, Resident Evil and the freaky little girl from F.E.A.R. not a problem, but if it looks like a spider I am done for.

phallus imagery freaks me way out... but seriously i hat when games have spiders in them too. i had to get rid of baldur's gate 2 because of the spiders.im_mr_brown

lol I was telling my friends the same thing while watching Hide and Seek! She is always playing a crazy role of some sort. Ever looked into her eyes while she acts in a movie? Enough to make a grown man cry. She getting older too, so good luck to the guy who dates her :D

re4 the regenerators they were wierd and hard to kill unless the dart gun or infrared scope was unleashed on them coffey85

oh god I hate it when that happens. I remember this happing to mewhilst I was playing MGS2 all those years ago. it was near the end and I was playing as naked Raiden when suddenly the game froze and I didn't save it for quite some time so I had to go back to the part where I had to escort Emma. really pissed me off that did.

Im playing RE4 and I just got passed the big lake monster thing. That scared the hell out of me.

I dont know, whenever you hear a noise but there is nothing around you. That freaks me out. I was playin the Turok demo a dew days ago and I went near a pile of Dinio bones and I heard a roaring that sounded real close... Well, lets just say I got out of there as fast as I could.

I must admit Alma ("the freaking little girl from F.E.A.R.) did freak me out a bit.

P.S. - Do not try running into Alma, it has shall we say explosive results.

Bioshock is the perfect combination of everything that scares me in games. Well-done lighting combined with creepy figures that pop out, an alone feeling coupled with the feeling of darkness and mystery and just the creepiness of the mid-1900s music and delirium present.FFF4N4T1C

Ha, Bioshock scares the hell out of me when other games like Doom 3 and Resident Evil 4 or moderately horrifying.

The intensity, sound, and things that pop out. Resident Evil is really bad for that because I get so light headed and I feel so empty inside and I'm so scared. :( Then I'm thinking shoot the hell out of that thing and it's a thing I like. I love being scared from video games. Uncharted got me going when I'm trying to run away from those creatures. :(-dark-shadow-

The Silent Hill games always scare me like in Silent Hill 2 when the mannequins head falls off and she screams or in Silent Hill 4 when the monster swipes down at you from the ceiling hallway. In Resident evil 2 when the monster with its brain showing (lol) burst through the glass window made me jump
