What game do you regret buying

Bioshock, Oblivion, Prototype, Little Big Planet, and Tekken 6

MW2 - pretty much the same game as the first, only with worse multiplayer.

Probably Socom Confrontation. I bought it for the mic bundle but the mic ended up being broken and I lost the receipt so I couldnt get a new one.

Sonic Unleashed

I usually shop by ratings, but at the time i just wanted something different so this game caught me eye on the used game shelf. I didn't know what kind of suckfest I was getting into.

Gamespot gave this game a 3.5 and although I'm not that harsh its crappy indeed.

Killzone 2 and Oblivion

Fallout 3-so boring

Modern Warfare 2-so overrrated

Medal of Honor-Airborne-crappy story and even worse online

Borderlands.

When I buy a game, I thoroughly research it to determine whether or not I'm interested. If I'm interested in it, I weigh my interest against the cost of the game. When the price of the game matches my interest level, I buy it.

I don't get why people buy games they haven't researched. If the game doesn't get a ranking of at least 7.5, I don't bother. My whole collection of games is made up of 8s, 9s, and up. NFS Carbon is probably my lowest rated game.

Fight Night Round 3 so boring and i did a bad deal on it! Luckily I soon traded it for Ratchet & Clank : tools Of Destrucion which was great and that a keeper!

lol, metroid 2. i remember that. it was really creepy and lonely to play. hard as well. like you i got lost and gave up. the later ones are excellent though!

i think i was just dissapointed that the box had colour on it, and when i played it, it was all black and white and top-down view. i was only about 11 or 12 at the time!

Other than these 2 my purchases have been relativley solid!

Mine would be White Knight Chronicles what made it bad for me was the battle system and i feel like the game was way to easy.

Someone is going to yell at me, I know it. But Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Main reason why I bought it is because most of my friends had it so I wanted to play multiplayer, but I've put so much frustration and time into the campaign mode, but I keep on dying. That and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I LOVE that game, but for some reason now it doesn't load, no matter how much it gets cleaned. FML!CheerGirlGamer

i really dont blame you, MW2 is soooo broken with all the unncessary stuff they added into this game, if they made this game more like MW1, then that would be great, but the new killstreaks, perks, and whatnot they thought was a great new edition, turned out to be the biggest flop in FPS history, but if you love Drake's Fortune, you gotta get Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, this game tops everything the 1st one had with amazing multiplayer

I just couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried. The story totally blows. Your just thrown into the world to kill without anything more than lull the ancient one back to slumber. Getting armor and weapons require nothing short of rocket science. Though the graphics were nice i still hated the game.

that silent hill: homecoming game.

I was so dissapointed with myself that I traded that game in to buy another one cheaper at gamespot. This is important becauseeeeeeeee I never sell my games or trade them in!

Uncharted. It's an ok game but it didn't impress me at all.

Army of Two the first game. The only reason I bought it was because I had 20 dollars on me at the time but what I got it should of been 10 dollars.

I don't know what iswrong with me but I couldn't get into fallout 3 for some reason. If I had bought it now at a cheaper price I wouldn't regret it so much, but I bought it the week it came out, $60. I have only played the game a few times and haven't touched it for at least 2 months.

Outside of that, back in the playstation days I bought Independence day with birthday money. Terrible game, worst purchase I had every made. I was only a kid at the time, but damn, what a mistake!!!!

The Simpsons Game... not that it was a bad game, I enjoyed it a lot, it's just that I paid the equivalent of US $80 for it...

Dragon AGe Origins, I hated this game, so overrated in my opinion

Darksiders= pure garbage

mercs2= made me want to hurt myself for purchasing

I feel like i have one or two more to name but cant think of them haha

The only thing I regret is not the fact that I bought them, but the timing.

There are some games like NGS1 and 2 where I haven't had the time to play but I've paid full price for them, when I could have just waited.

I bought Sacred 2 full retail price it was big mistake the game was dull and boring so i traded it in.-Hoax-

Oh, I forgot this. Yeah, I hated it.

Godfather 2. I had Godfather 1 and really enjoyed it but the 2nd one was a real let down. And Resistance 2 I played it for like an hour when it came out and havent picked it up since.

None yet...so far. But if I had to pick one, probably Assassins Creed.

In my old ps2 days, i finished EVERY game i every got. And i had about 40. I've owned about 10 ps3 games and two of them i traded in before i even finished them, i couldn't bring myself to even waste my time playing them any more. Far Cry 2... Worst game ever, can't believe i walked into Big W the other day and it was platinum. And Resistance- just a dud.
