seriously i played over a thousand online matches in fall of man. Beat the campaign multiple times. But with resistance 2 i probably didnt even play 50 the online was just brutal youd get matches with 20 snipers. Never even finished the campaign cause i was just getting mad. Seriously i hate this game.
Can anyone say MGS4? I don't care if you guys disagree with me or not but its my personal opinion. Going from the transition from MGS3 which was a great game to MGS4 which was so boring for me. I struggled to to finish it on the first playthrough and couldn't even bare the thought of playing it for a second time. I loved the other MGS games but this one was by far the worst game in the series even though it had lots of good things going for it.

I co-sign with this statement, mgs4 is just a complete disappointment. especially the online portion, it is just flat out horrible
I have to agree with you guys, and don't get me wrong, I love the series as a whole. I wouldn't say MGS4 was boring, but it just wasn't as good as MGS3, which stands as my favorite to date.
I'm hoping Gran Turismo 5 lives up to expectations... But with how much time they're taking on it, I'm sure it will be great. MGS4 was just... not what I expected. Boring, so I'll say that.
Definitely GTA4. I've always been a massive fan of the series..and don't get me wrong it's a fabulous game. But it just isn't..'that' good. (ie. 10/10's across the board)DanC1989
I agree, was hoping for amazing fun but reallife does NOT equal fun... they ruined it by having a more down to earth story which is why it sucked, stealing planes and buying airstrips and breaking into Area 51 was the fun parts of SA but GTA4 took it all away and left the not so great things.

Final Fantasy XIII. At least in my opinion. I played XII and loved it, there was gigantic hype for XIII. After 15 hours I just couldn't take it any more. That was the most brainless and repetitive excuse for "gameplay" I've ever experienced in my life. Maybe it gets better later on, I don't care. I've got better things to do than suffer through 5 more hours of that rubbish hoping I'll get to the good part.

BL's downfall was that it tried to be too many genres at once.
In terms of scores, probably Lair. Out of my own personal collection, probably Dragon Age (not that it wasn't good).
I agree although brutal legend was kinda fun it was too much it had strategy, action, Music/rythem and a bit of racing, and I just couldn't get into the story at all
My two biggest letdowns were Killzone 2 and Demon's Souls. Positive reviews and player feedback, but I don't see the big deal with either of them.

Yup, people swear by it and convince themselves its fun, but I don't see it. Trial and error difficulty, bland environments, no story, one hitter quitter bosses...It's a shame because I love action RPGs and I wanted to love it, but the bad outweighted the good (in my opinion). How it got GOTY here is beyond me. More power to ya if you like it.
Man, I'm pretty darn surprised at how little MW2 comments there were. I was so stoked for it and there were just so many problems with the multiplayer its hard to keep from rage-quitting every time you are killed by someone using One Man Army, Danger Close, and a Grenade Launcher, which still hasn't been dealt with. Please Treyarch, learn from MW2's errors...
GTA4 - big let down for me, i dont understand how people can like this game, living breathing city they say, yet theres hardly anything fun to do in it, spent so much time designing a tv to watch wow amazing, why go for realistic i didnt like the story, the characters wasnt brilliant. and wot really made it worse was how much people hyped it up and how gamestop said how amazing it was, it was a to realistic story to wot happens in real life, people want gangasta games to be rags to riches, plus how can u go from SA with so much stuff to be able to do, to GTA4 its crazy, SA was heading in the right direction to wot could be possible and then they went 5steps back with GTA4.
I didn't even click on the thread and knew the answer to the question was going to be HAZE. Sure it was not the worst game ever, but damn that hype killed it.
