I never sell any of my games because I love the game industry and don't want to kill it

Everyone else can do what they feel is right

I sell any game I don't want to play anymore, whether it be because I think the game is terrible (A recent example is DiRT 2), or because I've just played the game so much, that I'm finally tired of it. (ex. RE5)

I collect games so I never sell them. I generally only buy games that I know I will want to go back and play someday as well.

I only keep my favorite games EVER. I can part with anything else. I usually do a lot of trading with people towards newer games... it's all about the timeless element I feel after playing something...such as FF7, Ocarina of Time, Earthworm Jim and Silent Hill 2-- I could never get rid of those. As for Batman, it was ridiculously awesome, but after I got my Platinum trophy I don't think I'd ever go back to it (which is why I rented it).

I've never sold any of my games on the PS3. The only exception was Resistance 2, but I had never opened it and got a full refund for it so that doesn't really count.

I keep collectable games like MGS series, and those that I play at least once every two months. If I don't play a game in 60 days, odds are that game would be better off as credit for a game that I will play a lot more often. Games that I get platinum on normally get sold since I probably don't have anything else to do in it. I ask myself "Would I play Batman more than I would MW2 (or whatever game you are interested in next) ?" "In a few months, will I be playing Batman more than I would MW2?", if the answer is still yes, keep the game. If the answer is no, then trade it. I'm not one of those people who keep a game just in case the rainy day comes along where I want to play it, because usually when I go back to that game, I get bored of it really quickly. Games lose their value over time and if I want to play it so bad later in life, I will buy it again. Odds are, that won't happen. 45.00 today won't be worth as much in the future. New games are becomming more expensive. I would sell it while its still worth what it is.

sold off fallout 3, oblivion, and Bioshock thinking of selling Batman AA as well. not because i hate it or anything, but for the reason of saving up money for the new releases later on. Games are quite expensive you know(especially if u live in canada)

I don't sell/trade my titles anymore.

I use to do it quite a bit until I started to value the quality of the games I owned.

Especially in this hard economic times I don't buy a game on impulses or review score so if it in in my collection, it deserves to be there for many reasons. ;)

I only buy the games that receive good reviews and are replayable. It's usually the ones that have online play... like Modern Warfare or Burnout Paradise, for example. Even when you complete the campaign/story mode, you can still go online and keep playing them.

The rest, I just rent from Blockbuster. $10 for one week. It takes me less than that to run through the whole game anyway... why spend $60?

I don't sell my games because I'm very possessive of them and consider myself a collector in addition to a hardcore gamer. I used to sell games when I was younger, and I regret it. I wound up re-buying quite a few of the games I have sold and still continue to do so. Though I have the PSN version of FF7, I regret ever selling my hard copy. That's probably the biggest loss I've had from being so stupid as to sell some of my favorite games of all time in order to get new games. I just bargain hunt for new games and get them for cheap, which makes up for the fact that I don't sell games to get money back for more games.

I sell a game if I know beyond a doubt that I'll never want to play it again. I sold Ghost Busters on ebay for a slightly different reason. After finishing the short story mode and having a lot of trouble getting any online matches, I realized that I'd never get $60 worth of entertainment from it and sold it before its value dropped a lot.

Generally I keep all my games since you get peanuts for trade-in values. There are occasions where I'll go through my games and really have a "heart-to-heart" with myself about if I'll ever play the game again (or likewise if it's something I'd regret trading in after the fact) and go through my library weeding out those titles that have just been collecting dust and have less than a 1% chance of me ever having an interest in playing.

I used to keep all my games, but lately I've moved into a default sell mode. I'm not really big on replaying games that I don't absolutely love, so I generally only keep sports titles that are infinitely replayable.

I have never sold a game in my life. Just keep it. Just because you have a Plat doesn't mean you won't go back and play it. Once it's gone you're gonna miss it.

I keep the games I never get tired of or are hard to find and the ones I do get tired of or don't like I sell them.
