For me, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction uses it the best. The SIXAXIS usage in this game IMO is outstanding. Like when you step on one of those green pads, and Clank pulls out those wings of his, then you move the controller up/down/diagonally to control your movements as you glide in the air. Also, when you use the Decryter to hack doors and shields.

So what game(s) you have played that you feel uses the SIXAXIS controller that best?

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

Uncharted:Drakes Fortune

Killzone 2

These games use it pretty well. Its good as long as its not the main control method in the game but in some instances (when done well) ads variety to the gameplay.

Ratchet used it greatly. I loved the puzzle hacker thing with it. Resistance 1 also felt fight for shaking off menials, it was so natural, I didn't even have to think about it. Killzone 2 isn't bad either. A lesser known one is Far Cry 2. Driving using the SIXAXIS felt so right. I exclusively drove that way, the sticks seemed so archaic after that.

I totally agree with you. When the SIXAXIS is properly accumulated into the gameplay scheme of a game, thats adds to the game's overall appeal and gives variety. And variety is good.

I know I'm a minority here but I actually liked the motion controls in Lair.

Heavenly Sword made good use of it as well.

Yeah, I know, I turned it off, but still I hate when they just use the motion control for crap like that. Then again, there is not much more use for it in Mirror's Edge, whatever, the game's badass on its own so who cares :P

True, true. :P I still thought it was kinda fun using it for disarms and stuff. Not for serious attempts at speed running or anything, but if your just messing around it was fun to try.

1) Flower. The game relies pretty much exclusively on the Sixaxis technology, outside of its simplistic one-button press to move forward function. 2) Folklore. Subtle, yet very satisfying. Tearing out folk souls using the Sixaxis never felt so immersive. The other games used it sparingly, though it felt gimmicky at times. Dark Sector is a notable one for using it well with the Hand Glaive.
