I have a 32 inch Bravia LCD 1080i that does a great job with the playstation and dish network (dish can't broadcast in the p format anyway). There isn't any difference in quality at this size between the i or p format.

i have a 32 inch bravia as well and it looks great... true it cant do 1080p, but yea, it doesnt make too much of a difference at this size anyways, and the tv should only be around 13-1400 dollars in the US (mine is Japanese)

I have a 42" Sony Bravia and I am extremly pleased with it. I got mine at circuit city for around $2500

but they allowed me to one year no interest so that was nice.

Sony will have something new out by the end of the year or earlier. All their new modesl, rear projection and LCD will be 120hz.

I think their mid-budget Rear Projections could be out in 2 months, the A3000 line, replacing the A2020 series. All new designs.

You can get the Sony 60inch SXRD Rear projection 60a2020 for $2100 or so. There are plenty of DLP tvs out there, Samsung being real good. Though I love my new Toshiba 65inch 1080p DLP 65hm167 I got for $1750 shipped, no tax. I'd rather have that than a LCD since I sit 10 feet away and 42-52 inches is kind of small, especially for gaming.
