what is a game you like no one else seems to like

I really like guitar hero games, huge fan and definatly gettin gh4 full set, but non of the hardcore gamers play it, only casual average joes do.

Lair would be the first one that comes to mind.

Also, even though it's fairly well rated, The Darkness also comes to mind. I absolutely love that game. I thought I'd bring it up because I rarely see it talked about.

I thought the darkness demo was OK but I dont know why it just made me throw up, I wasnt spinning or anything I was just playing the game and i started feeling sick... what a unique game it was to make me throw up.

First, GH is popular, the series has made more money than you can fathom. Second, my "unpopular game" would be Fifa. I know its huge in Europe, but in America its sales are abysmal. I'm not even a soccer fan, I just enjoy playing a game online that only takes 15 minutes. Whereas a game of Madden will take nearly a hour...just for someone to quit.

Enter the Matrix - one of the most fun game I've played. And why only 6.4?! For me it should be 8 - 8.5!

Katamari games - most people thought that the game is weird in a bad way and stupid. I agree it's weird, but in a good way!

I applaud you. These were my exact first thoughts but I didn't have the courage to say it. It's hard to go back to now because of GTAIV though. Great when it came out, but it has NOT aged well.

Well after the initial WTF characters and gayness the game wasn't bad although a little warning on the sex orientation would have been nice.

Aye mate. I also loved The Darkness. The game immerses the player in it's story in a way rarely seen in modern video-games IMO. The characterisation was really masterfully done. You could really emphasise with Jackie throughout the plots ups and downs. It did help that The Darkness powers were pretty badass as well.

As for other games that didn't quite get as much recognition as they deserve, Siren: Blood Curse, Dark Sector and the recently released (and excellent) Silent Hill: Homecoming all come to mind.
