[QUOTE="Darthorcron"]I believe nothing can be perfect you can get close but not perfect. for a game to be perfect you have to waste your life playing it it would have to be the most addicting drug ever and you would do anything for it that is a perfect game for me but i believe no game will make you that addicted.likesstuffWorld of Warcraft? :PI lol'd !
A 10 means one of this:

So most of us agree that a perfect 10 game is a game that will keep you coming back for more and more. It's a game that won't frustrate you with any problems when you are playing. Even after several years, you would pop that game back in and play it and feel engaged and pleased with the experience all over again. And most importantly, everyone is saying that a perfect 10 game is a game that has very little to no flaws.
I said I wouldn't get GTAIV, but actually picked up the game yesterday. I wanted to see what the buzz was all about and since I don't rent games and have played GTA games before, I felt that buying GTAIV was not going to be my worst purchase. Fortunately, it wasn't. The story is engaging and funny. There is so much going on and I agree that Liberty City is life-like and interesting. The visuals, were nice, not the best I've seen, but good for the GTA style. Sadly, I suffered some freezing to which the game stopped and the music was dragging and then it resumed. It happened twice and I didn't like it. The car handling in the game is far too loose from what I experienced in previous GTA games. I found myself obeying the traffic laws a bit so I couldn't run anyone over, which is all good. The physics are impressive so far. The game is more polished than previous games but that's what I expected for a current gen game. I have yet to play online since I am not interested in that part of the game just yet.
With the latest report of the game crashing, people not being able to play online, etc, this is reason why I feel that GTAIV doesn't deserve the perfect 10 that so many critics are dishing out. I felt like GS only gave this game a 10 because every other site did. In my honest opinion, it's worth the full price tag, but it is not a perfect 10!
Ocarina of Time, that was a perfect game because it pushed the envelope and was ahead of its time back then. There was no other game like it.

lol, but i don't even think world of war craft could make someone so addicted to even kill. although i clould be wrong.
When a game is not only totally impressive (graphics-, audio-, gameplay-, storywise, etc.) but it also feels complete.
There are a lot of games that know how to impress the player. But I often think after finishing the game:"That could've been better. I would've liked it better if that was different..."
Many awesome games have just some little things going wrong. A 10/10 game is a game that has everything going right.
Of course it depends from person to person. I, for example, am somebody who mostly needs a good story to enjoy a game. Graphics are not so important to me. But for new releases I do have certain expectations what the graphics should look like. Gameplay can be repeatitve as hell. As long as it's enjoyable I don't care. The voice acting should fit the characters and the situations they face. The soundtrack is not too important to me either. But things I definately wouldn't like to hear are rock songs or something like that (like in PoP:WW). Of course I also have a favourite genre. I mostly play Action-/Adventure-/Action-Adventure-games. I don't really like games that are set too much in a fantasy world. Some fantasy and magic is good and normally adds to the story. But too much is too much :p.
