it is bothering me so much, and I want to share it with all of you!!!

Gamespot gave 8.9 to the guitar hero II for the 360, which is defenitely better than the Ps2 version. Until there, nothing wrong!

but so tell me why PS3 version of oblivion got 9.5 while the 360 version got a 9.6 when the Ps3 version is way better?

this is ridiculous! they have no "criterium"...

whats you thoughts

Gamespot does like to make slight changes to the scores for different versions of games. I remember when Gamecube games would always be docked points for not having online play. That was stupid, because Gamecube games don't have online play, and Gamespot policy, in theory, is to judge games against other games available on a console, not against all games in existence. Anyway, versions of games that come out late compared to the original versions usually suffer in score just for their later releases.

GH2 on the 360 added new features and content whereas Oblivion on the PS3 did not (Knights of the Nine was already on other platforms months before the release of the PS3 version of Oblivion).

That's the furthest I've gotten to, though I believe the developers could have put at least 3 times the amount on the disc but meh, Oblivion still rocks IMO.

I also say who cares. I got Oblivion for PS3 and I'm loving it, I'd give it a freakin 10.

Gamespot and all other gaming sites have people sitting in a room and playng games all day. Not exactly rocket science. But you should note that every gamer has their own likes and dislikes. So I just look on here just for a little insight. GS has posted some very very suspect ratings so you have no choice to think that there is some bias against certain systems.

Although I don't really like Gamespot's reviews, I believe the 0.1 lower score of the PS3 version of Oblivion IV is justified by the fact that it's a port.  They've seen the game played before already and that's why they just decided to give it a bit lower score.

thats really not a reason to give it a lower score, they are reviewing the game for people who have NOT played it yet.  they cant just say "oh well we've played it already, its old and no one cares so were gonna dock the score down"

the other reasons people listed are more plausible, i think they should be fair and rate it the same.  it is the same game after all, it makes the most sense.

Yo no offence but does 0.1 really matter? its not a conspiracy and what do their scores matter to you if you like the game
