R & C. I've seen to many kids call it "kiddy." The game has good variety, beautiful graphics, and great level design. The ones calling it kiddy are really the kids because this game suits all ages if you would just open your eyes a little.

Bingo, R&C is sweet, I don't know why it got such poor reviews and is getting such a bad rep.
g.r.a.w. 2 - i picked it up cheap over the holidays after finishing it as a rental a few months back. high replay potential and i really like the presentation and controls. i also find the title screen music oddly haunting...
Despite the generally negative reaction towards it I had a lot of fun with Clive Barker's Jericho. I loved the game's art design and using all the weapons and special abilities of the seven different characters was very cool. The only things that let it down for me were that it was too short, it had a disappointing ending and that your teammates usually end up dying quite a lot.
For the current I would probably say R&C, kinda bummed that it hasn't even broke a million in sales (could care less about the ratings it gets).
For the future (near future), its tough to say just cuz a lot of the attention comes with the release, but right now I would say echochrome looks fun and innovative and if they really do have user created stuff could be around a while.
Side note, I think a lot of the psn games are fun and underrated...i just wish sony would put out more demos of them, cuz half the time I have no idea what exactly the game is.

I agree completely. Folklore is a very under-appreciated game with a great story, lots of Folks to capture and level up, great art style, music, characters...it's just a great game. The use of the SixAxis is excellent, and it really added to the feel of the game for me. Very good game indeed.

Yeah, the 7.0 gamespot gave it was a crime, it's an amazing game, great story, loved the comic style cut scenes, the whole direction of the game is forfilling... IGN.com gave it a 9/10, which is the right grade for it, but, at 7.0, it's one of the most underrated games of all time.
Ratchet & Clank- for both Gamespot's rating of it and the sales. This is easily one of the most impressive titles currently on the PS3 and it's sad to see that the PS3 fanbase did not show up to support the game to the fullest. I think that b/c it's a platformer too many ppl thought it was a 'kiddie' title... but it really isn't, it packs more gameplay goodness than any other title in the last year!
I think the most underated playstation series has to SOCOM. The only aspect that SOCOM lacks is that of good graphics, which i believe the PS3 will fix. The single player is pretty, if too short, with a surprising deep storyline, but the multiplayer is simply awe inspiring. The reason, you dont instant respond, causing every move to be much more important and crucial and the only game i've played to come close to that is Warhawk and sometimes COD4. I can't wait for SOCOM: Confrontation, although i believe its kinda a filler inbetween now and when Zipper produces the all out SOCOM 4, but playing a revamped crossroads in HD automatically makes it worth it.
Ratchet and Clank. Seems like it fell victim to the fact that the previous versions were so good. The graphics were amazing and the gameplay was stellar as always.

I think you guys forgot something very important which is Uncharted, an 8 out of 10 is not enough.
It has a great gameplay, graphics and storyline. If something was missing, it would be online feature which (in my opinion) notnecessary for this kind of games. watcha think!?

Folklore is WAY underated. At the very least, it should have gotten an 8.5. Everything is just so right about it, and it makes good use of the Six-Axis too.
i dont know why gamespot gave RATCHET & CLANK a 7.5 ,on gamerankings R&C has an 88.8% rating.it think R&C deserves an 8.0 or 8.5.UNCHARTED WAS A LITTLE UNDERATED too it deserves an 8.5 in my opinion,on gameranking uncharted has an 89.8 which rounds to 90% rating.i dont know gamespot gave it an 8.0.
It's a tie between Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank for me right now. I might have to add Heavenly Sword and Folklore to the mix once I get around to picking those up.
Uncharted is my favorite Action/Adventure/Shooter/Platformer of all time. Ratchet and Clank is extremely fun; Gamespot lowered the score because it had too much gameplay variety - WTF, since when is gameplay variety a negative.
I think the 3.7 out of 10 given to Super Rub a Dub was harsh. I had a blast playing this game which was a completely new and unique gaming concept as well as highly addicting.
I think that MotorStorm Is One of the Most Underrated Games Ever. Its the Funnest Off-Road racing game I've Ever Played.EliteF50
I would definitely agree here. Motorstorm doesnt get talked about much, got a lower review than it should like Ratchet, but provides an enormous amount of extended gameplay. It has quietly sold well over 1 million copies spurring a sequel as early as later this year. It's popularity and style made it the perfect choice to bundle with the 80GB PS3. I also thought about Ridge Racer 7, but the fact is the multiplayer is not nearly as good as MotorStorm.
I would have to say Heavenly Sword. I played the game going into the experience not even being a fan of those types of fighting games. I mostly play FPS and racing games, but from the moment I started playing Heavenly Sword it truly brought me in and had me hooked. It was just amazingly done and incredibly fun. Yet, hardly any long lasting praise for the game was given, and it seemed to practically be forgotten about not long after it came out...such a shame.
