What is wrong with PlayStation???

Ok I may be a newbie but is there a reason why they don't release PS3 games in PSP form? I'm just curious... is it a money thing (when is it not) or a technical thing?

Anyone know?

I say this because I really want to play that Enslaved game and it's only on ps3 and xbox

Yea, it's a risk making a game on the PSP because games don't usallydo well on the psp.

The PSP has too many games that try and emulate the full console experience as it is to be fair, I don't think down porting PS3 games would work on a handheld. Im finally playing FF7CC now and it works well on a handheld system because it doesn't over complicate things and is accessible in bite size chunks.

PS1 Ports are fairly easy, PS2 ports can be done, but PS3 ports are... Well, not impossible, but the amount of time and money involved just wouldn't be worth it. I don't think they have any PS3 ports, and I don't think they ever will. Maybe on the PSP2...Granpire

Well thanks guys (and girls)I guess that leaves me with one option ... buy a ps3 :D..... or Xbox :cry:

AND many games for ps3 and xbox360 are too technically advanced to be ported to the psp. when companies even try to make a wii or ps2 version it comes out like garbage often. The only GREAT games that I know you can get for PSP that are also on ps2, xbox, or ps3 are Tekken , Ace Combat , Clank, and God of War . There are other good psp games, but i cant think of any others at the moment that are just as good as the wii/ps3/xbox360 versions.

Anyone else think that the portables will always be a generation behind the consoles? I mean, I consider the psp to be somewhere between PS1 and PS2. When the Xbox 720 and PS4 come out, the PSP 2 will be comparable to the PS3.

The 2 aren't comparible. That's like Nintendo releasing Wii games for the Super Nintendo :'). Seriously, the power of the PS3 isn't comparable to the PSP, powerful as it may be.Daavpuke

360 multiplats are better bc ps3 ones usually are ported.kipohippo021
