Oh that was a big step for PS3 owners. I think we all remember that. Also when Trophies came out was big for some. Especially now since they are implemented in more games. My favorite moment was when Firmware 2.4 (In-game XMB) came out and I didn't have to back out of a game just to message somebody back. Ugh. I can't believe I used to do that

Hmmm playing fifa09 with my mate at my house, we were playing online 2vs2 against 2 randoms, the main point is they didnt realise their mic was on the whole game, and we could clearly hear what they were saying, talking about random things like who is hotter jessica alba or shakira lol. anyways it managed to go to penalty shoot outs and we heard them say 'shoot bottom left' and then we would go there and save it, we saved 3 in a row which won the game, but funniest part was hearing them go nuts over how we knew where they were kicking. That was just amazing and we couldnt stop laughing.fifamessiThat sounds awesome. It is the little things I tell you.
Probably when I'm either playing Resistance 2 or Killzone 2 online, someone always uses the F-bomb every time they die. I always laugh at them lol.
In KZ2 3 guy go trough a doorway, i aim, shoot and boom! 3 Headshots lol :D
Then i threw a nade and it bounced back at me and blew me up... :D

My favourite moment wasn't even during gameplay, while waiting for a COD:WAW match to start up someone was playing Dead and Gone by T.I. (BTW if you want to be instantly hated play music over the mic in any multiplayer game) So me and a friend started singing along terribly, then nearly everyone else who had a mic started in as well. Dead and Gone boy quickly left the game and I had never felt obligated to friend everyone in a match before that day.
lol some good posts here ^^. Well so far i've had quite a few good moments on psn, all of which happened playing resistance fall of man (as it is the only game i am able to play online so far). its 1 shot kill on most servers, so u can get some good kill streaks sometimes, last night i was playing and got 11 kills in a row, absolutely pwning these n00bs, was fun lol :P. Also when i sneaked up on about 3 guys, meleed them with my gun then ran and shot another few players and fragged a couple more, getting myself a pretty cool little kill streak.
Call of Duty 4.
It was Headquarters on crash. the big building near the helicopter there were about 5 guys just standing there. i throw a flash from the stairs, then i ran up so fast that i knifed as if i was solid snake.
That reminds me of the time I made a female avatar and made a trap at my house with cabinets. I lured guys into it for lots of laughs. It pretty much was a big cabinet prison and the only way to get out is to use the couch glitch on the ceiling. I even stacked a chair on top of some cabinets facing the prison with the hole at the top. I can just watch and taunt them all I want.Probably that one and only time I logged into Home, made a male avatar, and grinded on men for like 15 minutes. The reactions were awesome.

When the Bayonetta demo released.
I stayed up all night waiting... only for it to be released in the afternoon the next day.
Anyway, I still got to play it and I was happy, then I passed out.
Ok, one time in MW...
We were playing these loudmouths who just talked crap all match. Me and this one guy were going at it because we had exchanged head shots sniping the previous round. They were pretty good though, so they kept beating us. I just talked back to get a rise out of them. Fast forward to a Search and Destroy match. I'm the only guy on my team left. There are like 4 of them including that one dude. So we find each other and I kill him. So I decide to teabag him for 2 minutes, twirl around, and then commit suicide on his dead body with a cooked grenade. Everybody on my team was hysterically laughing and the dude was left speechless. They quit soon after. I ruled the day.
First off, I would like to welcome you to GS; hope you like it here...
Now down to business :P
I think I'll elaborate on my story a little bit as I have some time today… and the fact that I remember it so well (Read it if you're interested).
I had a lot of memorable PSN moments, but if I must cite one of my favorite ones (if not, one of the more weird ones) it would have to be that time I was playing TDM in CoD WAW...
I'm a pretty good player by default, but during that evening, I was especially impressive... at one point I even had six "40+ kill with 5 or less death" matches in a row and would consistently finish in the top spot; needless to say, that was beyond my norm. But that wasn't why that particular PSN episode was so memorable... it was when my biggest fan appeared. Anyway, back to the story. So here I was, slaughtering everyone left and right; almost to point where I would feel guilty. My teammates and enemies constantly changed, but it made little difference; I was scorching hot. No matter who joined, regardless of their experience level, was instantly forced into the fetal position.
However, I noticed there was one guy who was always on my opposition's side that stuck around to take all of the punishment that I dished out. He wasn't a particularly good player, but he definitely helped his team more than he hurt them, I'll say that much. He had his mike on, but remained silent all throughout the 14 or so matches that we had together. We kept playing and I kept slaying. But like all good things, that too, had to end; and so I finally decided to call it quits. But just before I pressed the PS button to shut down my PS3, I received a PM. At first, I thought it was hate mail, where the sender would probably talk smack and blame it on hax, lag or whatever came into his sore-losing mind. But to my surprise, it was a buddy request from that guy who stuck around the entire time. He begged me to add him, and asked if I would create a codwaw clan and grant him a position in it. I said something along the lines of "sorry, but I'm not interested in clans. I just had a string of good performances, no need to overestimate my skills." He was disappointed, but then asked if I could play a few matches with him while we were on the same side. I said fine (even though i intended to leave). He then proceeded to invite some of his friends. As soon as 5 or so of his buddies joined our party, he became overly talkative and started saying how great I was and that I would own absolutely anyone. Needless to say, I felt the pressure. Good thing my hot streak didn't end and I continued to be very efficient… I don't think I broke the 30 kill mark very often, but would consistently get somewhere around 25+ kills and 3 or 4 deaths. And every time we entered a new match or new random people joined, he sang his praises about me (with some profanities naturally)... and I delivered. It was incredible, but at the same time kind of embarrassing as I'm a fairly humble person (contrary to the way I wrote this story).
This happened sometime in July (?), but till this day, I still receive PMs from that guy, asking me if I want to start a clan yet or if I would join his match… well, not so much anymore. Anyway, I can't believe a hot streak could blind a person that much… I mean my ratio at that time was only 1.85, which is hardly elite level... but still, if was kind of a neat experience.
(This took me about 15 minutes or so to type up, so no, I didn't put that much effort into this just so that no one will read it :P )
(edited because it came out as a wall of text)
