I always use p90 but I love choking people silently, don't know why but people seem to ignore me when I'm choking someone. After I've choke them I pull out a handgun and shoot right in the head.

Hold L1, then press R1 if you want to strike or R2 if you want to stun. It will take multiple strikes to bring an opponent down but only one to stun him.
it isnt balanced as it is. snipers are way to accessible and way to powerful. the automatic sniper should be removed completely and the snipers should all need way mroe dp to use.
that being said, i use the automatic sniper because you cant compete without it

I use the sniper rifle no matter what game type because it's the only bloody gun I can hit people with. I'm pretty good at shooters but I just can't figure out MGO at all. People just one shot kill me before I even get my gun up.

I never have just a knife though.
You have to select it from your weapons. Hold R2 to go in your weapons inventory.
The M14esrb is way too overpowered to be only 750 drerbin points. Any way. The M4 is best, since its the most similar thing to the MXsomething in MGS3, which was pure win.
