The Uncharted series was pretty good. But if you get a BF game it should neither be BC1 or BC2 because no one plays these online anymore. BF3 is the one everyone plays as I do myself but not when CS finally drops. Be warned though as BF3 is full of glitches and EA sucks.

I have comparing to your list Batman Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 1 and Bad Company 2. Bad Company 2 is a very good game for online gaming but not for Singleplayer, it's a bit boring. Uncharted 1 and Arkham don't have online but they both have a great campaign story, in Arkham it has more than 14hrs of gameplay and i have finished the game like 3 times but Uncharted is a very good game to make easy trophies and get the platinum very easily, and it has a great story too. Batman after finishing the game you can free roam and complete the challenges. I think if i were you i'd get Uncharted 1 and 2 and Arkham if not buy the Uncharted box, because it comes with Uncharted 2 too and it has multiplayer and from what i hear it has a very good storyline.

i just finished (not 100% but the story mode of) Batman Arkham City. The game is tremendous. I decided to buy Arkham Asylum and I thought the game would be less good. How wrong i was!!! The game is as great as his sequel. My advice: buy it right now. Even if you're not a Batman addict/fan/lover I'm sure you'll enjoy the experience. The fighting system is excellent with a very fluid Batman, the story is good and the characters are extremely charismatics!! And if you are a Batman fan well this is heaven! Enjoy your games!

Grand Turismo 5 XL - Meh.
Battlefield Bad Company - Meh.
Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Meh.
Batman: Arkham Asylum - Yes. Buy. Play. Enjoy. Platinum. Then pick up the sequel Arkham City.
Uncharted 1 and 2 dual pack - First one is very good, second one is incredible.

Out of those games, I'd go for Battlefield Bad Company 2.

The multiplayer is great - just make sure you get a sealed copy for the VIP code. Without the code you can still play online but there aren't as many maps available for all the different modes. The code to buy from PSN is only $9.99.

There's a nice Onslaught mode that lets you and other online players play against bots. It's $4.99 extra but I think it also comes with a special version of the game.

  • uncharted 1 and 2 dual pack - Easily 2 of my favorite games on the PS3

battlefield bad company 2: Great game. I got it after BF3 being impossible to have fun with due to all inputlag and crapola dlc. There are matches online, just not by the thousands.

batman arkham asylum: Really, really great cosy game. Batman FTW

uncharted 1 and 2 dual pack: Both great games. I liked the first one much more than the second since it was more indiana jones adventure feel with jungle and crypts and stuff.

GT5 XL - no opinion, I prefer more arcadish racers anyways

Batman - n/a

Uncharted - fantastic games, played them both on normal and hard. eventually going to play through the whole trilogy for crushing.

bad company 2 is dead mp and not worth it for singleplayer.

I liked Battlefield BC 2, it was pretty good. But the Batman & Uncharted games are some of the best game experiences you can get.

If you're going to get into the battlefield series you'd be better off getting the PC version, if you have that choice. Also... I think if you get Battlefield 2 Bad company from Steam, you can register it to Origin and get the Deluxe version for free, which comes with the Vietnam pack. I say I think because I was able to do it myself. But, I had bought BF:BC2 before Origin existed, so I don't know if you can do it with new copies. I suggest going to the Steam Forums and asking. You do need a CD-key from Steam. If they do still come with CD-keys then it's likely it can still be done, but I guaranty nothing. I can only confirm that it works with pre-Origin Steam purchases of the game.

When you try to register Steam's CD-key to Origin. Origin will pop up a message about visiting this other site. You then fill out the form and then you get a choice between Deluxe and Normal. Don't pick normal, if you want the extra free content. Also, note that you will have to use Origin Client if you want to play the extra packages.

I'm assuming you are not a big Batman fan if you haven't played Arkham Asylum yet. If you are a fan of Batman and familar with his rogues gallery, every second will be awesome. If not, it is still a great game with fun gameplay and plenty to do after the incredible story.

The Battlefield: Bad Company games would have been more fun within the first two years of launch because the multiplayer was more alive, the best parts of each game. Both games still have working multiplayer, but the only people who play it are pros. I found the campaigns to be very enjoyable with interesting stories, funny dialouge, and superb shooter mechanics. The destruction and vehicle warfare is second to none too.

Can't go wrong with any of these three games, and they all are in a cheap budget. If you shop at the right place, you could get all three for under $18 each. Steals.
