but isnt call of duty more realistic and actually feels like ur in war because i have call of duty 2 and havent yet tried resistance. is it a similar feeling?coltss

Call of Duty is more dramatic with this sort of "Saving Private Ryan" feel to it and that makes it apealing to some (me), which is awesome. The thing about Resistance is...well, the story is something that we've seen countless times before, but the concept of altering the history of the world at that time & period so crucial to our history and us humans fighting off a threat far more advanced, makes the game feel like "War of the Worlds", which is cool. They have every possible advantage over us, so everytime you take a step foward into the story you realize that they're 5 steps ahead of you (If I tell you more, then I'll spoil it for you).

Well if it's for the online play, then by all means go with Resistance as it has a more loyal following of online gamers than Call of Duty 3. And if it's for the story, then wait for Oblivion.

Well then try eBay. Maybe, just maybe you'll be able to find at least Call of Duty 3 & Resistance cheap (if you get lucky $30+ each, which combined would add up for the price of one brand new game), but Oblivion I doubt it.

I have Resistance and Marvel Legends and want to buy MotorStorm but I am not going to because it has no Spilt Screen and I hate when people say it can not support it. MS was to be a 1080P game plus run at 60FPS but does not and not having those features should make it easier to be able to do split screen.
I would not care if there has to be less stuff on screen to allow it I would be fine with that. I like to play games more off line then online so the game will be a must if SS is added and not until it is added I will not buy it.

If you're giving yourself an excuse not too buy Motorstorm, I am sorry but that's your loss. Despite not supporting split-screen, I am happy the way Evolution Studio's handled Motorstorm(with the exception of only 8 tracks which I hate!), because having split-screen would have ruined it. Motorstorm is easily the most fun I've got out of a PS3 game thus far.

Only 1 for me: Virtua fighter 5.
I tried resistance, but the game wasn't for me since i hated the sixaxis analog sticks for aiming. I only wanted the ps3 for vf5 and mgs4 anyways, so its all good.

i have reisitance fall of man , sonic the hedgehog, virtua fighter 5, defjam icon, motorstorm, and marvel ultimate alliance. i just finished beating def jam. it was great. i have 2 controllers.

About Sonic The hedgehog, is it really as bad as some make it out to be? Also, Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom?

i have it, and i think it could be better but its no 7.5+ game, cameras bad, slight framerate prob now and then and the town missions are annoying. also frequent load times that are longer than motorstorms. but id rent it first if i were you.
as for my collection i have RFOM, motorstorm, sonic, and need for speed
