Yeah, Egypt sounds pretty awesome. It could be like a prequel to Uncharted, where you find out why Nathan hates Eddy Raja, how he met Sully and so forth. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
I like Egypt the most. But I have to say the The middle east? Well a tad north east. You have Pakistan, and the Himalayan area. Yo know Big!! mountains lol. Also Monks and cool stuff their. Humm Are you saying Like Iran to Jerusalem Middle East. If so that would be kinda cool. I mean were talking some religious relics and stuff their. And you could make some cool landmarks. And wasn't that where the first Indian Jones was done? I mean its not a bad thing to copy that road some. If it works it works.

OFF TOPIC. Like alot of my post are lol "Its because I dont ever start threads" I just attach my thoughts to the closet available subject.
But I just thought about the Indiana Jones thing. And I heard the music in my head. Then I thought about Lara. And she even had that one tune that I can hear in my head "also just thinking about the Tomb Raider main theme." Uncharted had some cool music. But no real Nathan theme. He needs a song in part 2 lol. Just a thought.
I'd say Nepal or something like that, climbing all those BIG mountains and then discovering these ancient monks temples, full of.. evil monks! :obluearmykid
And its not like the climb up over the Falls, did not showcase some cool platform and climbing physics. Yea,, if you think about that part of the game. Theirs alot more climbing they could of done. Nepal would be great.
Siberia, maybe China, really though, I think an Around the World atmosphere. Going through cities, jungles, mountains, and just traveling through a longer and more in depth search for something. Both Indiana Jones, and even some of the newer movies like National Treasure would serve as a good base, providing a story that could take you to a number of different locales instead of one large tropical island or desert.
To make it totally different it would have to be somewhere cold or maybe a city setting. Better still make it a bit longer and have it in several settings.

It would be cool as well if they were to go through towns and have shoot outs and stuff like they are up in the moutains then go through lil villages and hit big cities and go through forrests idk somthing cool like that
What about the 1st levels being set in a modern city, then they go to some ruins?rogerjak
thats what i was trying to get at like a Vegas setting or somthing or Hong Kong would be kool you know just somewhere and you have ot run into lil jungle villages at least

I'm not trying to be a party pooper here... but all of you saying known places, don't you think that would totally contradict the UNCHARTED title?? :roll:
It should be more free-roam, maybe taking up treasure hunting contracts in different countries? It would open up some cool side-quests that uncharted 1 was seriously lacking in. Anyone else think 1 was too linear?
egypt would be cool gosh ,I am from egypt any way and I would like to see uncharted in egypt ,I would love it cause I would be knowing the places and stuff.
