What One Looks Better? (PS3's The Best Boxart)

I was bored and just made this for fun, I used MS Paint so sorry for the quality.

I know myne says "Greatest Hits" and not "The Best" But it looked really messed up when I tryed putting "The Best". (And I like "Greatest Hits" Name Better :P)

Anyways...Which Box do you think looks better?

My "The Best" Box...

I like the first one better.

The one on the bottom looks like a wannabe 360 platinum hits box.:?

Yea I dont like the Red either, But MS Paint cant change the color or it will look even worse lol. But the Red is better than the Yellow IMO

It would look better if it had a critic's quote on the front praising the game. You know, emphasize the "great" part of "Greatest Hits".

However, I'm doubting the North American and European "The Best" artwork is going to look the same as the japanese artwork...

I just figured red because:

a) It was the PS2's greatest hits colour shceme

b) Red goes better with the black colour scheme of the PS3

c) I just chose red for no reason :lol:

Black & Blu

a) PS1 had Green, PS2 has Red, PS3 should have Blue

b) Thers a Blue light on the PS3, Thers Blu-ray and Blue is Cool 8)

No dont make it like that, Try another way

based on Sony tradition, they'll replace the black edges that say the title of the game and "playstation 3" with a single solid color.

(lime green for PS greatest hits, red for PS2 greatest hits).

But PS3 greatest hits pricing is what im interested in. I'm guessing $25-$30 since everything is $10 more these days

Alright, I made two blue colour schemed ones.

First one:

Clean and simple with a slim, blue banner on the top indicating that it's a Greatest Hits title

My second one:

The top banner idea was taken from how the Warhawk boxart had that banner on the top saying "multiplayer only"

Whatever the GREATEST HITS thing will be, I'll be waiting for it Sony (cuz I want Ninja Gaiden Sigma)

i really liked the gold box that surfaced a couple months ago, both the first two look kind crappy imo.

Ok, I Just had a Idea so I made It. Prob gonna make another one. (My Photoshop Isnt working for some reason right now) So I hade to Use MS Paint (Again sorry for the quality).

My Idea was that the Plastic of the case is blue and has "The Best" engraved In It, and On the Boxart it has at the top (Similar to PS2 "Greatest Hits") It has a good quote or ranking from a Video-Game website or Store. And the Background color the comment Is on will match the case's colors. Like this...

Very nice :)

My only gripe with that design would be that everyday people would get the PS3 games and Blu-Ray movies mixed up. Besides that, it looks fantastic.

But I'm sure that Sony is going to stick with GREATEST HITS, beacause THE BEST seems a little too pretentious imo
