What should I get my boyfriend for his birthday?

So my boyfriend recently got a PS3, the new small model, and he hasn't really gone outside of playing Call of Duty or the first Uncharted yet.

So his birthday is on Tuesday and was looking through Craigslist.

I can either get him Resistance 2 + Killzone 2 Limited Edition for $50 or gethim Uncharted 2 for $45.

So, which would you guys rather have, Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2?

well, you can actually get him older (and cheaper games) like Metal Gear Solid 4 (around $30 now NEW, obviously cheaper when used), Batman Arkham Asylum, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2.

I Would go with Uncharted 2 since he owns the first.

Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 is also a good choice but I think he will get more enjoyment out of Uncharted 2.

I'd say Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2. Those are good games.

Uncharted 2 FTW, it's much longer than those FPSs campaign wise(I've played them) and has great multiplayer too.

I would say to get Uncharted 2. It seems he's already into COD, so any other FPS probably wouldn't last too long.

I'm voting for Resistance 2 & Killzone 2 since you're getting 2 games for $50! If he is a Batman fan, I truly recommend Batman: Arkham Asylum.

I love Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2 has a better campaign, but I'd say Killzone has better multiplayer. If he's an avid online gamer, get him Killzone, if he prefers a great single player experience, get him uncharted 2.

Anyway, I think buying him an actual gift would be a nicer gesture. Gift cards, albeit very nice to receive, may send her partner the message that she doesn't really know what he wants (aside from the store, that is)...

Real gifts are often key to strong relationship; regardless of the couple's age or how long they've been together... gift cards work too, but they just don't have the kind of impact tangible gifts have.

I guess i'm just speaking from experience, where i wouldn't dare give my girlfriends gift cards/money for their birthdays; it just seemed wrong for some reason, even though technically it wasn't :P

Resistance 2 is a great game. But you should stick with Uncharted 2 which is even better and since he has the first one. ;)

Uncharted 2 is really fun. Personally, I'd rather have it than KZ2/R2.

Get hima gift card so he can pick out what he wants. Thats what I always ask for.

FYI Men don't want Viedo games from there GF for there birthday because you can't wear a video game

I would say Killzone and resistance 2, he likes CoD, so he'll like KZ, and it is just a better deal, not to mention you could also pick up resistance 1 for less than $15.

All I gotta say is two great games especially for only $5 more is better then just one great game!

I don't mean to sound selfish or immature, but Gift Card? Really? Gift Cards are restrictive and in my opinion are lousy gifts. Cash is better.

I'd recommend getting him Uncharted 2: Among Thieves though because it's a true masterpiece and Resistence, and Killzone can't touch it.
