What Sony needs to do at E3

-Announce a new exclusive game that uses every processor, fills up a blu-ray disc. This whole 4th dimension thing, that needs to be implemented. This is very unlikely, but would be amazing if it happens.

-Sony...we need a release date for home. Seriously.

-A teaser for God of war 3.

-Confirm KH3..c'mon we need SOMETHING from square enix

-As for this big ff7 news, put ff7 in the PS Store

-Shed some light on the story of Resistance 2 and keep us guessing

God of War 3... no, not way too interested. Still have to beat 1 and 2 is still in plastic wrap; it bores me to no end, and to think I love DW series :/

KH3 - At this point SE probably will try to go multi with all the big titles they have, or Wii exclusive. Today's the best example.

FF7, PSN? yeah sure, I'd love that.. I think. My heart is still dripping blood.

Resistance series - well... i am a PC gamer as well. Enuf said?

Gears 1 and 2 is published by Microsoft. They do not own the rights to Gears 3(yet) and we might get that is they make it.

Agrred. I honeslty don't think it matters what Sony does at this point. FF was a huge loss and nothing they announce tomorrow will fix that.

Yea... but I spent like alot of MS points on Themes and Gamer Pics... I dont think you will be able to use the themes because if you remember you slide the thing to the left and they take up the whole middle of the screen. they will probably give you different colors but that is it... you wouldnt be able to see the theme

They need to show off all their exclusives, especially the ones that we have little info about, the ones like L.A. Noire. They also need to show off the new IP that there was an article about somewhere online that was said to be top secret and very amazing. They should also do a few first party exclusives, and not like MLB 09 The Show or other sports titles, just random games, maybe a good FPS, an action game, or maybe an RPG.

But that is what needs to be done as far as games go. Then they can give info about Home, the TV thing that goes along with the PS3, and other features they have.

The FFXIII announcement was dissapointing to say the least but I am more upset about the netflix partnership. Free streaming downloads onto a hard drive for rentals with an existing membership. Thats pretty cool.

Since Microsoft usually has problems keeping secrets about these sorts of things, it would surprise me if Sony already knew about most of the things microsoft said including the FFXIII one.

So I think that they will probably announce both a FFVII game (either a brand new one with a new story but same characters with cloud as the main playable one or a remake of the old FFVII) and get this.......

A partnership with apple and a PS3 becomes your very own apple tv! I think that would rule and is very possible due to the fact that steve jobs has on more than one occasion given his support to the blu-ray system (and is on the board of disney) and what better way to stick it to microsoft than having their two biggest competators in different markets come together. That would be the ultimate Sony E3 for me.

if only. i remember dreaming of wild announcement like this last e3. but sony always disappoints every year. sure they will probably show some teaser for something. but at the same time, we won't experience the game for like another 5 years. remember last years big announcement? it was some online game which no one cares about to this day and is nowhere near to its release. in fact its just going to be something mildly interesting which will just turn out to get delayed even further a litte while after e3.

what i want more than anything is for sony to announce they will give back everyone their $599. but that will never happen.

I would like to see Sony announce a sooner rather than later release date for Home, but only if its ready. Something on GOW3 and the other great exclusives, but I want them to have some solid release dates because the phrase Play In Your World, Wait In Ours, is becoming true.

I do prefer 360 IMO its a better console and the online community is great, but I have had my PS3 since launch I originally bought it for MGS4,FF,Blu-ray and GOW3, but I experienced some other great games I didn't even know about, I didn't play it that often but with the release of MGS4 I found myself on PSN a lot more. To me Sony got lazy with the PS2 victory, while MS geared up for a fight, now its time for Sony to improve or it will be over.

I remember hearing that Sony doesn't know if it will release another system, if they do it wont be until 2012, meanwhile MS planes to release a new console code named Omega 2010 the latest is 2011. This would put Sony back in the same spot and forcing them to release a system even if they are not ready.

some improvement in internet: make it faster.. =S

announce some killing news.. like...: AC2, DMC5, MGS5, ZOE3... =) something like that..

make ps2 games run in 40gbs through an update mb?! =S i'd like that... x)

What sony should do :

1- Concentrate on gaming first

2- Announce a couple of new exclusive titles (2 will be good enough)

3- New gameplay footage of Killzone 2, Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2, Infamous, Little Big Planet, White Knight Story

4- Show teaser trailer of God Of War 3

5- Really announce Home release date, or release atleast a public open beta within a month

6- Show a couple of cool PSN games

7- Show a cool new feature for ps3

8- Improve latest firmware update

9- Show atleast 2 JRPG's

Im sure then they will put a smile on everyone in light of the FF13 xbox 360 thing that happened. Also That will make the PS3 rock on.

i just want them to show footage of upcoming games and announce some new ips.i hope they dont show a bunch of charts and graphs.they also need to keep the home talk to a minimum.....i just want to see games

You said that Sony got lazy with thier victory, maybe they'll get geared up after a loss, as MS did.

If MS decides to release another system, that would be foolish. You'd have people who just bought not only 360's, but PS3's and Wii's for no reason, because this would be the new next gen. Actually, scratch that. Cause it's not like MS or anyone can just pull new technology out of thier rears that is loads better then what is out today. So yes, making a new system would be foolish for MS, and it would be more foolish for Sony to play follow the leader. Plus, Sony said they wanted the PS3 to last a few years, at least untill 2012 I believe they said.

They need to have some dude [preferably a larger sized bloke] walk out on stage with a 360. Gently set the rival console down, then the guy would drop trow and strategically drop a load on said console...this single act would quell all and have all fanboys in an uproar simultaneously...chaos-SD
