DMC is gone now too. What the Hell, that was one of the greatest games on PS2. I have always been a hard core Sony fan, but come on! I spent 600 dollars on this damned system. I better get some DMC to myself! Why spend 600 bucks when I can spend alot less to play the same stuff? I hope to god that article is Bull, because Sony is really starting to piss me off.

Then I can just buy a 360 right, cause it's cheaper, I didnt spend 600 bucks to see all of the games I was hoping to play go to a cheaper console.

What Souless is saying is that you choose a console over the others because of the exclusives and if DMC was the major factor for Souless spending $600 on a PS3 then I don't blame him for being anoyed.

All that's left is MGS, Lair, Heavenly Sword, and FF XIII. Now if any one of those goes multi, I give up. Sony would have screwed us over big time. It isnt about a pretty console, or Playstation Home, or the other crap on the console that isnt even fully implemented yet. It's about the games on it.

For Christ's sake, im not gonna name off every exclusive. I named off some of my favorites. Some I could care less about. I am just saying, my favorite games, are potentially going other places. Resident Evil went, Now DMC, Probably Silent Hill someday. FF, there have been rumors everywhere. Kingdom Hearts hasnt even been set on a certain console. Metal Gear could be going as well. If Sony doesnt do something, they wont have one exclusive in a few years.

Do any of you guys know how the game industry works? It doesnt sound like it so let me explain it to you all. Sony NEVER had any exclusives and NEVER will. The definition of an exclusive is when a company is contracted to make games EXCLUSIVLY for a console. Sony HAS NEVER and WILL NEVER pay a company to soley make games for them. The only reason you see some games on the PS2 and not on xbox is becasue the PS2 dominated the market when it was out so if a company wanted to make a game for a huge audence they went with the playstation. IT is very differnet this time around , microsoft has a big chunk of the market already. Now, Since next gen games are extremely expensive to make you are gonna see less and less exclusives goin around. It cost way to much money (like, goin out of buissnes money) for a developer to make a game for one side of the market share. Now microsoft has paid some companies to make games just for them. Sony doenst think they need to do this sicne they have one of, if not the biggest software development team in the world, so they dont feel the need to go and through there money around. so in closeing once the PS3 is out longer and secures more of the market you might see some companies taking sides. But this is a new era for gaming its not like onld times anyore. look online and find the budget of some high profile games and u will see that they cost huge amounts of money, money that some companies cant gamble.

I'm just wondering when lost odyssey, mass effect, or blue dragon is going to make there way to the ps3 seeing as they might go out of business if they don't sell enough copies of the game?

Its still early. There are a lot of other games that could possibly be exclusives. The PS3 has only been out for a little over four months. Give it time. Developers just want to make money and Sony doesn't have the install base to keep the "early" games from going to other platforms. There are several other franchises (Kill Zone, God of War, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy, Resistance etc), not to mention new franchises out there that come out of nowhere.

Buddy what you need to do is to calm down a bit. DMC was going to be multi platform anyway. Incase you didn't know, the creators of DMC were still deciding to multi it or exclusive it. Obviously DMC would make more money Multiplatform so I guess that was the best choice there is. Sony has way more exclusives than you think.

-Lair

-MGS4

-Heavenly Sword

-FF13

-FF13 versus

-Killzone

-Ratchet And Clank (btw the game looks gorgeous)

-Jax

-God Of War 3

-Afrika

-Grand Turismo

-Resistence fall of man 2

There was a list of 75+ games that were exclusive for the PS3 made a long time ago.

I don't understand why people say PS3 has no exclusives. I think if they do their research they will understand that the PS3 is not multiplatform
