I bought two games when I purchased my PSP. Wipeout Pure and Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. VP:L was the reason I bought it and I wanted something else to play as well so I noticed WP and remembered how my first PSX game was Wipeout XL and how I loved that game so yeah, it got bought as well.
I got my PSPat the end ofAugust 2005. Gamestop was having a "buy 2 get 1 free" sale, so I got preowned copies of Death Jr, Hot Shots Open Tee, and Ape Escape On the Loose. I couldn't go without a UMD copy of the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy movie as well. My daughter was born a month later and I spent a lot of time in the hospital playing while she was there. I have since bought and sold many games and movies, and have collected over 50 games, and I still have my original titles to this day...except for Ape Escape...it sucked hard core monkey dung.
My first was Wipeout Pure and its still probably my favorite. A great rebirth for the franchise with perfect control and great graphics. The downloadable content support was also very impressive. This fall is gonna be great with the sequel too.
Men, that's a lot of high quality gaming for the PSP. What's with some guys saying the PSP has no games. It seems to have a boat load of games spread across every single genre. That's a heck of a lot of variety, wow.
the first game I bought was madden 06 and I loved it until I got to game 6 of the season and I was playing the dolpins and everytime I would finish the game and try to save the psp would die. So I traded it in for POP revalations and it was garbage.
