What was the main game you bought a ps3 for?

Main game? Anticipation of Heavy Rain. But for other titles titles as well, like Ratchet & Clank and Metal Gear Solid.

Same here, well not specifically for that movie (although I do own it). I bought an HDTV and wanted to take full advantage of it, so I knew I needed and wanted a blu-ray player and game system to do that. PS3 was a no-brainer. Have been very happy with the decision.

When I bought my PS3, it was because I wanted this gen's console, and I wanted a reliable one. I wasn't thinking about games. I now have 14 games for the PS3, and I am happy with the console and the games.

I got it on launch day in like 2006. I got it coz I have had both of the other playstation's and wanted to keep the trend going, mainly play COD 4 though at the mo.....

As well as Gran Turismo 5 and Final Fantasy XIII. But MGS4 was out by the time i got a ps3.

Two games, actually. First, Battlefield Bad Company (they shut down the Battlefield 2 Modern Combat servers, so same day I went out and bought a PlayStation 3), and GTA IV.

i looked at the exclusives and i went PS3 all the way. then later got an xbox. the only games i got for xbox is halo3, gears of war 1&2, gta4 and COD 4-6.

i think PS3 has more choices and different kind of games while xbox is mainly shooters.

I got the MGS4 bundle, but until then, I had never even heard of MGS4 until then, but I really enjoyed it. I bought Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (fun game, but somewhat dissapointing) and later, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

well i was checking gamespot one day

then i saw this ps3 exclusive with a big 10 stamped on its head and then goty

so i bought myself a ps3............but no mgs4

it was uncharted df. i used to go to target just to play the demo no kidding

I bought my first PS3, three months after launch. Main reason was Ninja Gaiden Sigma was about to be released. It was a bit crazy to buy such an expensive console, just so I could play a remake of a game I already had two versions of on the original Xbox. I just really love the Ninja Gaiden games.

Metal Gear Solid 4 primary. Lets just say, it had exceeded my expectations. :)

I just bought Uncharted 1 and 2 but i don't even have a PS3 lol. Will get it when GoW 3 comes out.

There isn't really a main game, i just knew there alot of games on the PS3 that I wanted, so i got it.

I owned a ps1, ps2, and loved it. So, I obviously wanted to get a ps3. I wasn't aiming for a particular game, but man, I love my ps3. :D
