What was your first online game that got you hooked to online play?

Mine would sipmly have to be Socom 2.. man that was the most fun ive had with online and ever since ive always bought games with online play.

playing in a shop class on a LAN in High school of all places with 30 other players was awesome(before the Columbine shootings of course)

Call of duty 3 for the ps3. I could never get online working on ps2 but after i got ps3 i was able to play. This was a really good game...BTW i picked this over resistance and dont regret it.

Im currently playing R6V for the ps3 and love that game aswell online

Yes for the most part depending on who you play with some play tactically while others running around like idiots. But this isnt a run and gun game, it does take some tactics to win even online. You just have to think, but overall it is kinda fast.

Doom was the first game I played on a LAN. I didn't become addicted until Diablo, and Ultima Online really sealed the deal.

Well if we add LANing into this then hands down Doom and Doom ][, but I must give a definite honorable mention to Duke Nukem 3D

Yes, I still play for a couple hours every day, since the beta :) I'm pretty good.

Then i got socom 1 played a lil got bored. when i bought socom 2 i was hooked! socom 3 was kind of a let down.
