are you seriously an idiot, why would you ask that question to a 30 year franchise which has yet to failLaszkiewicz
anybody remember snakes revenge ? :P
i'm pretty sure that's not even cannon...
Anyway, i think that the moment a MGS game will fail, will be the end of the gaming industry 'cose any other game already failed.
Really, the MGS games are the absolute highest quality video games in the industry, they usually have a development time of 3-4 years and cost 20 million $ + to produce per game (MGS4 is rumoured somewhere around 40 mil) and they are made by arguably the best dev team in the industry lead by the legendary Hideo Kojima, the most influential game developer ofour timesacording to the Times Magazine.
^ if that fails, all fails.
No the reason it is not canon is because it was an American made game and Kojima had nothing to do with it. Instead or releasing the
Hey Most people would know that I am A hardcore MGS fan but the only reason snake revenge ain't canon is because it failed so bad :P
The reason it is not canon is because Kojima had nothing to do with it and as far as I know, it wasn't even made in Japan. I don't know why the far far superior MG2 was not put on the Famicom from the MSX2, I guess that crappy little system couldn't handle it. MG2 is the true birth of the series and anyone who has played it knows that it was the greatest inspiration for MGS.
If MGS4 failed, and we know it will not, maybe then Kojima can go back and finish of his greatest ever game: SNATCHER! That game is so past due for a continuation of the story. I would love to see a reimaging of the game into a MGS style game, kinda based on SD Snatcher.
