They are serious. I know when I first opened the box, a single beam of light shone down, through my window, illuminating the PS3 and I heard a very distinct 'Laaaaaaaaaaa,' followed by a glorious fan-fare. It was pretty cool.

well thanxs every1 for helpin but im still kinda unsure if i should buy one but oh well i guess i have to think about itdark_mask_91

or if u can save up like $2000 more grand u can play every single xbox 360 game on PC

I am looking foward to the Socom 4 (or would it be more like the 6th version of this series).

Which model did you get? I'm pretty sure all models 60 gig and up (everything but the 20) were supposed to come with the Angelic Choir. Maybe it was just a limited time promotion. Makes me wonder if it still works, I'll check it out later.

Edit: I put mine back in the original box, and opened it again. Angelic Choir feature still works. If yours didn't, you should probably call Sony.

lol, yeah i heard the choir as well. To answer the topic, most everything is really good about the ps3. It's media functions from playing blu-ray high def movies and upscaling dvds, ps2 and ps1 games to playing video clip, music and pictures. Free, reliable and for the most part lag free online with great features like voice, video and text chatting, ability to make friends, and clans and of course it has a web browser and the playstation store, filled with free demos, wallpapers, and downloadable games for purchase. The reliability and the design of the console from the inside out are just amazing. To put it simply, the ps3 is sexy lol. Also smaller features like integrated wifi and media card readers also come in great handy. Finally, the exclusive games coming out for it just tops it all off. Pretty much every great franchise from the ps2 and ps1 will make it's way to the ps3 plus many more great games. Here's a link to a list of 125+ Exclusive games for the ps3.

This thing can really do everything, From multimedia to HD games, even drive you to work and cure canser. The exclusives are great and it gets most of the other consoles games, except Halo 3, Gears and Mass Effect (I dont care about Halo, the other two are great). Plus, for me, the other console is too pricey, because I need the one with HDMI to hook it up to my monitor, and essential things like online and rechargable batteries.

LOL, all i could think after i read that guy's sig about homer simpson was "spider pig,spider pig, doe's whatever a spider pig does, can he fling from a web no he cant he's a pig, look out he is the spider-pig". that was my own personal chorus.

Anyways im sorry ps3 has plenty of awesome features and games, other people have already mentioned them, but id say it's probably best if you check out some stuff online, ign have a features rundown on there site of the ps3 and all sites have reviews,previews and game trailers of games released and upcoming games.

Also it's a great blu-ray player as an added bonus.
