Hi, just joined up in the search of new titles. Just got in to ps3 gaming properly. Played and finished star wars force unleashed, modern warefare 2 and uncharted 2. A noob starter really in the grand scheme! I've played loads, just not finished! I own quite a lot of games now, but nothings taken my fancy to finish bar the above named three. After finishing Uncharted 2, I really can't get in to red dead redemption or arkham asylum, my next couple of ideas. U2 was just too good! Red dead, despite my initial excitement, is boring! Assassins creed 1 boring, not played 2 despite buying it. Not played a lot of Kill zone 2, played most of GTA. Not finished black ops yet. I will eventually get round to these games i've bought and finish them, but surely there has to be something I feel urged to beat quickly like U2? Bought it Friday and finished it Tuesday lol. What are some titles on the same addictiveness and greatness level as U2? I'm downloading the demo for Infamous, which looks like it could be good!

Sorry...but Infamous is nowhere near as good as Uncharted 2. That's the bad thing about playing Uncharted 2...once you play that game, then you get bored of everything else. Cause no game is nowhere near as good as that game.

inFamous was a good game. RDR is amazing if you stick with it, I loved every second.

Definately play Assassin's Creed II, so different from the first one. And can pick up Brotherhood after you beat it.

Bioshock 1 and 2 were both amazing games.

Darksiders, GoW III, Resistance. PS3 has a lot to offer you buddy, just find something and start playing

Thanks for the suggestions all. I'm going to sit through some Red Dead and hope it picks up, all the hype can't be over nothing? I could get other titles in the same series', drakes fortune or unleashed 2 I suppose. WIll give AC2 a bash too and hopefully I'll get in to 1!

This isn't easy, and I know what you mean. I played God Of War 3 later, and found it just as enjoyable. Also, make sure you play Drake's Fortune. I love that game even more.

Just come across a game called 'Vanquish'. http://uk.gamespot.com/ps3/action/vanquish/review.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=gssummary&tag=summary%3Bread-review Looks pretty good actually. Any feedback? Playing red dead as we speak, doing missions trying to get in to. It's happening gradually, maybe just an incredibly slow starter!!

Vanquish has been getting stellar reviews. Fast paced, and non-stop action. Check out some of the reviews.

Definitely play AC2. It's a great game and way better than AC1. As is Batman AA.

I've never played a game that was so good, that other games felt boring in comparison :?

I'd recommend Dead Space and Bioshock, they really are classics!

id hop online to really break into ps3 gaming. but mgs4 is one hell of a ride, and it looks beautiful. truly a game you can only play on ps3 or if you want to drain some of your precious time. check out one of bethesdas titles. oblivion or fallout3 are sure to drown you w/ sheer content and vast exploration.

Few games are as that... Mythical Beasts. "Uncharted" (first one) is a MUST if you skipped it. There are other third-person games I really like, such as "Just Cause 2" because it's HUGE and full of stuff to cause mayhem for hours with, and "Dead Space" if you like being creeped out. but of those two, only "Dead Space" has a plot that's nearly as engaging as the "Uncharted" series.

How about "Batman Arkham Asylum"? Have you played that on any platform yet?

Also I will probably get shouted out of the thread, but Guilty Pleasures of mine in the third-person action adventure catagory also include "Tomb Raider: Underworld" because Crystal Dynamics is a great studio responsible for the three best games in the franchise's history and this is one of them, "Alone in the Dark: Inferno" has excellent plot and involving game play but don't expect UC's combat exactly, "Dark Sector" because it's cheap and honestly is a good bit of fun for the $8 it will run you at resale, and "Dark Void" because 'The Rocketeer' is a great character, the flight mechanics are sound, and the creature design is fun.

I beat Uncharted 2 a couple weeks ago. Great game and I bought Red Dead Redemption, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Batman Arkham Asylum and Super Street Fighter IV over Black Friday. Plus I have COD:Modern Wafare 2 which I played very little of and I have Killzone 2/Resistance which I didn't even try yet. I have plenty of choices to choose from and I am going with......... Red Dead Redemption now. I like games with good storylines like Uncharted 2 so Im giving this a try. I may even try to rotate playing the games which I never done before.

I can sympathize with you. I played "Uncharted 2" on normal, then hard, then crushing mode and somehow was still not bored with the game.

I would suggest waiting till January to play "Mass Effect 2" when it comes out on the PS3, because that was the second game I played and it was the only other game after UC2 to keep my interest, plus the DLC will add a lot more to the game

Thanks for the replies again peeps. I'm the same as you BH14, i've plenty of choice! Snow day again so ps3 here i come. Im giving red dead a shot at the moment due to the positive comments. I have got and yesterday started Batman AA, but not eager to continue playing it, maybe i was just tired, ill try more. Games I've got but havn't given a chance really: Red Dead, (giving a go now) KZ 2 Assas C (bored me early) AssasC 2 (never played, but some of you advised me too) BatmanAA BlackOps( might play this) Maybe i've got too much choice lol. Basically since amazons so cheap, i've bought up a few things I 'might' like. U2 was fantastic. I just downloaded the demos for Enslaved oddessey, Infamous, vanquish and FEAR 2 origin. I'll try these now! I'd never heard of the some of stuff suggested which i'll look in to, thanks for them. Wasn't aware how many different titles there were. I'll definetly get drakes fortune though. Got the trusty gran turismo 5 also. I'll try some stuff, but give stuff longer than just the first level or so.

Well I've pushed on with Red Dead Redemption and it does get better; it's quite good actually. Just done the mine machine gun mission. Good call with that people. There's so much to do as well everywhere!
