Yeah, pretty much just another MMO, but spy oriented. Sounds neat. You pick a side, (from two), build a base of NPCs, and get to do nefarious things. The neatest feature (or most annoying. Depends on how you like your games) is recieving text messages to your real-world phone to make decisions that effect the game (say....one of your peons is captured. Do you blow him off or pay their ransom?)elemental_drago
Really didn't know that. Sounds intresting, I think. I'm sure that would be an on/off feature anyway.
well that phone thing would kinda annoy me cuz it would probably cost me money to do it from my phone. and besides anyone who needs a video game alert to their phone has no life anyways.The_Games_Guy
Yeah, when I first heard about that (in PCGamer, FYI) that was my thought too. If I'm not physically at the computer/console, I don't want my games harassing me. A line has to be drawn, for me at least. Now, that said, I do have to admit that that is a rather neat feature that certainly adds to the immersion. Along those lines, I could see why a fair number of consumers might get pretty excited about that. It's cool, no doubt there.
But, once again, a line needs to be drawn, and when I'm in the middle of work, I don't want to be (nor should I be, while we're at it) playing a game or managing some fictional avatar. I believe they said it would be optional but who knows. That could've changed. Along those lines, that could've been dropped too (so for those of you who thought "oh hell yeah! That's wicked!" don't get to excited.
